Oh, I kinda misunderstood the question. I thought you meant "how would he petrify him with his eyes?", if you meant "how he supposed to know where's authority is when there's no line of sight?" - basically, they both would have prior knowledge about opponent's location, or at least the distance they currently have

Difficult to look at doesn't mean it's impossible though. Also is it possible to make verse equalization for this battle? Since Adam have similar description - Inorganic Physiology (Type 1 - Charlie stated that Angels are "beings of pure light"[3])
