Alright a user by the name of DraycoMakargo sent me a discussion post containing an argument he would like me to communicate to this thread:
"Weekly, Yang's durability DOES NOT go up with her semblance. That's absurd. It's been stated everywhere that her semblance works by taking damage, which is why she's referred to as a glass cannon a lot. She factors out defense for offense. This is why she was beaten by both Neo and Adam. She wasted too much of her aura and ended up losing twice, the second time losing her arm.
Speaking of Neo and short opponents. Stitch is just as capable of maneuvering her blows like her. Yes, Yang has experience fighting smaller opponents, but those opponents you mentioned are for the most part blood lusted and don't think too much in battle (As opposed to the alpha varieties). Neo specialized in dodging blows. Stitch does this a lot too. Especially during his fight with Gantu. He uses his own size to his advantage while the grimm you mentioned do not. He is just as if not more intelligent than Neo (and he is a lot more intelligent than her if I might add).
Speaking of Gantu, Kaltias Stitch has a small range he takes advantage of. Because he's so small he allows his enemies to get close before giving them the Hulk treatment like Starry suggested. Which he has done so many times to Gantu. Repeatedly. Seriously for a galactic commander he sure is stupid. Pretty sure that's why Stitch calls him Big Dummy.
Lifting strength does not equate into durability. I don't even understand this argument.
There's no such thing as lava dust. There's fire dust but that's about it. Even so Stitch can catch a ball of plasma, and it's as if holding hot food with your bare hands to him. He fell into a volcano with a gasoline tanker and SURVIVED! Her weaponry is mostly going to just knock him back. So that's not gonna work. Yang's only option is to use her semblance and hope she can hit Stitch. Which is a risky bet because again, he's way too maneuverable and will counter attack.
Now for my own in general arguments. Those in favor of Yang forget one thing that's been shoved down our throat many times in RWBY. Aura doesn't last long. In universe it's their reasoning for why they live through deadly blows to make more action. Yang's aura, with her semblance, will run out fast. It's a bet Stitch may have in his favor because he's really durable. He fell from the sky multiple times, once in a space ship that exploded. He fell into a volcano and survived similar to Mario in Super Mario 64. He can catch Plasma with his bare hands. Another experiment's tail that can cause a 5.0 earthquake hit Stitch and Stitch was alright. Need I go on? Stitch could survive anything Yang could dish out due to her not having the weaponry or strength (even with her semblance) to beat him.
As has been pointed out a few times, Stitch has weaponry. Plasma guns to be exact. This can shred through Yang's aura since it is hotter than even lava.
Stitch also specializes in incapacitating his opponents. He's done this multiple times to his fellow experiments due to not wanting to kill them. Using whatever is around him, Stitch would find a way to incapacitate Yang. If not he can go ahead with the other plans I suggested above. He could also destroy her weapons if he felt like it by getting close and chomping down on Ember Celica. Or he could steal it and use it on her. Not sure how effective these will be though. But I'm just stating he can do this."
