Star Platinum: The World Minor Revision

A common misconception I've seen with Stands is the fact that fans typically interpret persistence as durability, or a Stand's physical toughness. It's actually a parameter for the duration of time that a Stand's ability lasts; for example—Star Platinum's Time Stop only lasts five seconds, and then he must wait a few seconds before using it again. So, unless there are reliable sources that state Star Platinum's durability had weakened in Part 4 and drastically diminished in Part 6, someone should delete the portion of text in the Post-DIO's World key that says Star Platinum's durability has decreased and also remove "possibly." I believe those who create and edit character profiles for JoJo should use durability feats and not statistics unless there is nothing that contradicts said statistic. Also, I think that Stands with good durability feats in the manga should have those listed in their VS Battles durability statistic respectively.

You're not wrong, it ain't a durability stat. It ca mean durability, but it can mean other things too as such it may not mean durability for platinum, in fact I'm 99% certain it's talking about 1. The length of time stop being short or maybe 2. The fact that it strains Jotaro and needs a cooldown, which is kinda ass thus only n E in the stat.

Although it is in fact true that all incarnations of SP, not only part 6, is weaker then post Dio's World. How much? We do not know, all we know is that Star Platinum at its absolute peak is directly stated to be in, within the manga and thus canon, to be when Jotaro was 18 (stated in Part 6 no less to be his peak so definitely fact that all parts after are in fact weaker) as such everything after has to b lower then his peak (18), meaning that yes, SP should have lower durability, how much we do not know though. Also while noncanon Jolyne makes note in EOH that Part 3 Jotaro is much stronger than the Jotaro she knew and it astounds Jolyne, not canon but it does go to show that official licensced material makes note of the discrepency. Anyway, Part 6 SP had an A in durability anyway, it was only E at the very end immediatl after his coma so it doesn't even apply to Part 6 Jotaro as a whole, only Jotaro with no muscle mass and like not even a day after waking up from a coma, the coma probably had an effect on his stamina and thus the permanence but likely not it's physical stats.
