Star Butterfly vs Tyranids

So, Star Butterfly has created a portal with her Dimensional Scissors, to have a fun day at the beach with Marco at Earth. But the portal is corrupted by evil magic, and Star and Marco are teleported to Warhammer 40k universe. They land on planet under Tyranid invasion in 42nd millenium, and Black Templars are on the planet, desperatlelly trying to save it. Star and Marco want to leave, but the scissors are gone, and they have teleported inside a Tyranid Hive Ship on orbit (Tyranids cannot destroy them. Then, Star encounters 8 Carnifexces charging at her. Star defeats them effortlessly, and Templars are shocked.

Star wins if she can destroy the Hive Ship and get her scissors, and escape to Earth.
Tyranids win if they kill Star (+Marco)

Tyranids are generally planet-level, and Star can also be planet level. Is this a fair fight, or a complete stomp?

Tyranids are so god damn outdated it isn't even funny. In fact their page should probably be deleted.
 
Even as laughably incomplete as the Tyranids are on the wiki, Star can't kill something that even Hyperversal Chaos Entities couldn't. High 6-A is ridiculous as a suggested peak for these creatures, so stomp for Tyranids.

She only needs to destoy a Hive Ship and reclaim her scissors to win. Not destoy the entire Tyranid army.

And what stops these scissors from being assimilated? It would be deeply OOC for the tyranids not assimilate them, plus what stops Star from getting passived?
 
I assume this guy is new as literally every 40K expert in the tri-state area has screamed that the verse is outdated to hell and back and not to make matches with it.

Well, just so this thread does not go completely uncommented about the actual match: As the profiles are, Star will lose badly. Passive hax is stupid high.

If I were to judge based on what I know about 40K V.S. Star's profile? Well... She's actually physically a match for even the strongest average tyranid, and her speed isn't that far off from mid-high level tyranids. (Of course, the high tier does get into relativistic to FTL speeds, but really, her powers should allow her that, in a fictional scenario, she could pull off a win against them) The problem here is, naturally, the hax she'll need to take care of. In fact, it's not even hax: It's the resistance to hax. Tyranids are more on the resistant than haxxy side, usually, and since Star's profile doesn't really describe how each of her powers work and to what degree they work, I can only assume tyranids will resist most of them, if not outright disable her powers, as tyranids really, really screw up wizardry.

Now, without spells she really can't hope to defeat a hive ship. Take on individual tyranids? Oh yeah, certainly, and for one or two days of the invasion, she can probably hold a battlefield by herself. But the Hive adapts, and once it does, Star is screeewed.

If she transforms into her butterfly form as soon as she realized fighting ground Tyranids was futile, and real goal was in space, and zoomed to space (with Marco hanging from her legs), could she avoid Zoanthropes?

They're too fast and have planetary range.
 
Most likely. Generally just don't throw anything at 40K unless it's literally against the decently put together Adeptus Astartes. Everything is usually either outdated to hell and back or is so haxe.d they'd be mistaken for a massive spellbook
 
we should walk to GW and demand that they nerf their characters!!!! I'm joking.

Either way, I think Star Butterfly (with prep, the 3-A form) v one of the Precures is going to be a fair fight.

Is 40k litterally broken and unuseable? I know that 40k is really psychic, but can their psychic abilities defeats everything?
 
40k is absurdly overpowered but the current profiles just plainly don't do it justice, hell even Warhammer Fantasy is better scaled and detailed than it right now

How could the 40k pages be updated? It is one of the most detailed fantasy franschices out of there.

But in all honesty yeah, 40k profiles are pretty shit. With the sheer number of material the series has, I find it incredibly hard to believe the profiles have such little shit.

Because all of the supporters have mysteriously passed away. No cause of death could be found, it's as though their souls left their body. Many speculate they transcended this world and became part of the Immaterium.

Or probably got witch hunted by reddit and literally 99% of the internet for believing that warhammer 40k is anywhere near close tier 2 or 1 even with the absolute strongest characters being a factor.

It's mental to think that we are literally the only website where we have the balls to put warhammer 40k verse anywhere near more than galaxy level.

I am not saying Star can defeat the Emperor, but without any psychic magic, Star can easily defeat any single warship, including a Hive Ship.

VSBW's interpretation of Tier 2/1 Warhammer is only valid within the site. If other battleboarding sites won't accept it, then it's not that tier within their domain, period
