Welp, the whole electro feat came up in an upgrade ansd I've found myself having many problems with the ratings they get.

Spider-Ma:

Can fight and harm Electro and The Lizard

The Lizard scales to him and him only, so mentioning him is useless.

And when exactly did he hurt electro? While charged up the dude took several hits from him with no damage. Getting knocked back while floating isn't a reason to scale someone in AP.

Endured Electro's lightning

I'll get on to this with Electro.

Electro:

Scales to this... and here come the problems.

First of all, in the original calc it is pointed out that "At the same time, the full amount of electricity in the city was enough to overcharge him" and "99% didn't kill him, it took 100% of the energy?".

Secondly, didn't peter specifically have anti-electricity equipment? Like, it's been a long time since I watched it, but didn't he specifically prepare for that?

And lastly, I feel that surving electricity striking you isn't exactly the best thing to scale to your durability regardless.

I gotta agree. Andrew Spidey has been MCB+ for too long. Electro is honestly very inconsistent. IMO Andrew should be Wall Level.

As I mentioned before, Wall Level would make sense. In TASM1, Lizard is capable of easily destroying walls and even threw Peter through some. Considering Peter was able to harm and restrain him, he scales pretty easily.

I remember electro vaporizing some water, and that could be pretty high depending on how much water there was.

I think that this seems to make sense.

Electro's power also does not seem scalable to Spidey. Remember he couldn't physically put Electro down and had to rely on overcharging him.

Well, yeah, but he also gets revised.

Spidey is likely going down to 9-B unless I forgot some great feat.

which makes him weaker than most other spidermans. Weird.

TBF, the TASM series (at least the first movie) did try to somewhat ground itself in reality.

So, is somebody experienced willing to handle the changes?

Remember to update all of the relevant statistics, including the tier categories at the bottom of the pages.

Not yet, since I would prefer to watch the movies before applying them.

No point in applying changes without actually looking for feats.

Either tomorrow or the day after that I'll tell you what I found.

@Ricsi

Okay. That seems reasonable.

From what I know, surviving electric blasts can scale to your durability if all of their power is focused onto a target.

Most of the time it wasn't tough. The ones I can remember were either "deflected" into metal or absorbed by his webshooters.

In the movie, he had modified his suit and webshooter for Electro's powers.

DontTalkDT has revised our Lightning Feats standards so the entire energy no longer scales to durability.

Wait since when was his suit resistance to electricity? It was only his webshooters and webs that were resistance to his electricity. (0:58) In other parts of the fight scene, even the first fight, you can clearly see Spider-Man talking several hits and still getting up. Again, he wasn't making his suit resistance to electricity. Only his webshooters.

But electro didn't have all of the energy of the city, so it hardly matter before that.

And that hardly diqualifies the downgrade.

Is there anything left to do here?

Well, unless soemone can calc the water vaping, which I'll request later, they go down to 9-B... oof intensifies.

There's a scene where Peter is watching TV and he hears people on TV basically giving him the idea to make his suit more resistant to electricity.

This is about the movies, you'd need to make another crt.

As for tiers, just noticed that the original calc calculated the water waping to 8-B

Honestly the original calc is far too vague, it doesn't even link statements and it uses measures of Kilowatt per hours from a yearly consumption rate that the writer doesn't even specify how it should be broken down, heck he admits he doesn't understand how he can use the numbers he has gotten. As far I am aware Watts are a measure of Joules per second, so one should be looking at the energy consumed by a city in watts.

And the water vaping feat in the blog is eye-balled, they assume a 5x5x5 meter in volume without even so much as an image to pixel scale.

Is somebody experienced willing to carry out the agreed upon changes?
