Source of explosion formulas

Where do the ground and air blast formulas come from, and are they reliable?

Pretty sure the ground-based explosion formula was from an official 2013 EU explosion pdf (So that's reliable enough), while the air-blast stuff was taken from a variation of the stardestroyer nuke calculator.

I believe the air blast formula come from "Nuclear Weapons FAQ (Carey Sublette)".

Talked with DontTalk. He has told me that one way of getting the air-blast formula from stardestroyer is by looking at the source code.
