Soulcalibur Discussion Thread

Well this time they can set standards for new scaling. So some characters may be treated as a bigger threat.
 
So we have 5 main feats.

A City level - Small Country level+ feat

An Island level feat

A Mountain level Feat

A Large Building level feat

A Wall level-Large Building level feat. (Astaroth destroying the temple in a rage)
 
@Dragon C'mon dude, you're forgetting the High 6-A, High 4-C, and 4-B scaling from Darth Vader, Link, and Spawn respectively. OvO

I dont think Those guys are as strong in Soul calibur or else Everyone would end up High 6-A or higher considering Mitsurugi fought Darth Vader in Soul calibur 4

The god tiers I agree with, though my knowledge on the SC series is only from 4, a bit of 2 and 1. So I don't have my comment on the mid and low tiers.
 
Right now I am just separating them into sections. These are very rough listings by me going by a very unreliable memory at this time. As such I need to research actual fights and such

After we do this, we will then worry about what feats to scale from.
 
Well the calcs were accepted. We just need to settle who goes into what tier and what tier scales to what feat.
 
So I have thought about it.

God Tiers: Small Country level+ (Via Algol's feat)

Top Tiers: At least Island level (Via Cervantes Feat) or just Island level

Mid Tiers: Mountain level, possibly Island level (Via both Inferno and Cervantes' feats. Iffy on this one) or just Mountain level

Low Tiers: Large Building level (Via Taki's feat) or Large Building level, possibly Mountain level

Once again, very rough and highly subject to change.
 
Let me see:

1] The High 8-C scales to the low tiers and a very casual feat for Taki, who helped Sophitia against Soul Edge Cervantes.

2] The 7-A Cloud Piercing Beam was done by Inferno in said ending. The same canonical one was caused by Nightmare [Siegfried] in the SC intro.

3] The Low 6-B+ feat was caused by Algol.

4] The 6-C feat was caused by [Soul Edge/Inferno] Cervantes.

Note: All these highest feats were done by the Soul Edge.
 
The Low 6-B+ feat was done by Algol actually. All these feats were done by various forms of Soul Edge. Like weaker forms.

The High 8-C, 7-A and Low 6-B+ feats are 100% canon, the 6-C one is a what if Cervantes gained control of the swords freed from Inferno control.
 
Well we can still use the 6-C feat as it shows us the power of Soul Edge. So that is usable as well.
 
btw we should also look up weapon abilities as SC characters actually have multiple weapons they can use that have their own special abilities.
 
Your tier list is good, but i will check some characters just to make sure their placement more.
 
Also, i like that you separeted the timelines. I will do the same for Mortal Kombat since the 8-A is for the new timeline only.
 
Yeah, it's likely best. Although I fully expect a weather feat from Soul Edge during the story mode.
