We know that he has it, and sonic can't put him down, so the willpower manip will eventually happen, whether we know how it works or not.

Probably a stomp for Gio since sonic can't put him down.

I was there when the note for willpower got added, we can't assume Giorno will use willpower and even if he did we can absolutely not guarantee it works for 24 hours.

That said Giorno does have life-force draining/adding (which makes people's body too fast for their minds or something) which is OoC but if this fight takes long enough he might pull it out.

It isn't even that out if character, we do see him use it against Bruno, though it is when he first realizes that he can use it.

I don't think he could use it to actualy kill or knock Sonic out because of the AP gap, all he did in the Bruno fight was use it to make Bruno unable to dodge and feel more pain, which the AP gap makes both useless

Only attack reflection could actualy beat Sonic

I'm pretty sure that'd be an NLF to assume it'd be able to reflect up to the amount of damage Sonic can inflict, but Sonic isn't going to realistically attack the animals regardless even if it did work like that and he feels the pain coming back at him. I'm not sure if the causality protects the animals too (Sonic could subdue them with hax otherwise), but they can't even harm him either. It'd just be incon.

It says Sonic can go super in the OP, assuming Giorno will let Sonic peform actions so attack reflection can actualy procced, then Sonic would probaly transform, and Super Sonic has stonewall dura so attack reflection won't work

Giorno's whole thing is return to zero, wich erases any action take. IE, Sonic moves, punches out giorno, GER resets, sonic is back at the start and Giorno isn't affected by the punch because it never happened. Also GER can move in a timeless void, but not giorno.
