I liked Frontiers for the momentum it gave the Sonic franchise and it was the best Sonic game in a long time, but that isn't saying much as I thought it was a rather average game with a DLC that induces artificial difficulty and a weird difficulty spike that didn't exist in base game. The base game didn't even prepare anyone for the amount of difficulty in the DLC. It's a weird curve that can turn a lot of people off. There's also the fact that the should have cooked this game a little more before releasing it and having to make a patchwork "real alternate ending" thing. It's a fine game, it was just undercooked and somewhat too safe.

Seen this debate on Discord after the DB so
Eggman vs Giorno, Eggman gets the Eggmobile and all its variants.
Giorno can reset willpower to 0 along with actions, rendering you unwilling to attack in addition to stopping your attack, so might be debatable even with the Egg Reverie resistance.

If Eggman has any form of mind/mental manipulation resistance along with acausality of some kind, methinks Giorno is a little fried.

Yeah, I guess if willpower is like a mental or spiritual thing, he already resists mental with his goggles and chaos emeralds protect against the soul being manipulated.

You know what makes me cringe more than anything else in the Sonic fandom? Since Sonic x Shadow Generations released, and the changes being made to Sonic Generations, people who I consider to be angry tourists have attached buzzwords like "woke" and "DEI" to SONIC of all franchises.
Granted, they're nothing more than a loud minority of individuals that are trying to stir up drama to earn viewership, but I loathe people who normally don't care about Sonic trying to attach themselves to the series because of self perceived politics. It's just very cringe.

The reason for the Shatterverse containing 6 universes is because one of the chaos council says that the shard would let them control the universe, supposedly before learning there were other universes, and there are 6 worlds in the Shatterverse.
But in the very same episode, pretty close to the start, the council learn from Rusty about the idea of alternate worlds, and learn about the shard’s ability to travel between alternate worlds.
So, if they knew about alternate worlds already, then couldn’t the “universe” Mr. Dr. mentions be referring to the whole Shatterverse and not just New Yoke?

Slightly skewed. We use this as one point of reference among like 4-6 that clarify each Shatterverse is a universe, alongside the celestial bodies we see in each and the references to them having different flows of time
This seems like too far of a stretch, the show itself has characters using terminology that refers to the collective Shatterspaces as the "Shatterverse". Mr. Dr. mentions nothing in plurality there, just singular, but that ignores other mentions of the term universe in other places referring to the Shatterspace they inhabit.

AFAIK the main celestial body evidence is that Grim has a starry sky (which is like MSS), and that each space has its own time flow, but I heard that a space needs to be both universe size and a separate time flow to qualify as uni+. If the “new multiverse” angle is meant to prove each space is a universe then, idk, doesn’t exactly clarify each space as a universe.
True, they don’t know how big each shatterspace is, but they do know these alternate worlds exist separately from each other, and common knowledge dictates the universe has over trillions of planets and billions of galaxies so, universe referring to the collective of worlds would make sense if they don’t know those worlds are universes. They’ve also never explored much outside of a single city, so them referring to their own space as a universe is a little weird, especially when they just expressed a desire to use Nine’s tech to cross worlds right before the quote.

Why wouldn't they think their own world is a universe? They don't have any memories of the Shatterverse being a splintered universe. Nobody thinks rl isn't an universe for example.

Well, they did kind of just discover that alternate worlds accessible via portals is a thing, and since they were occupied with a single planet the whole time, it would make sense for them to group their world in with other worlds and collectively call it a universe.

yes they do as there is little reason to assume they are saying "universe" in reference to the entire Shatterverse, at all, from their perspective, they are other realities and they are NEVER refered as a collective as "universe"

Saying they didn’t know about alternate realities until capturing Nine is just blatantly untrue, given they saw Rusty’s recording about Sonic traveling to another reality. And all the council knows is that there are alternate worlds, not that they’re temporally separated (since Rusty didn’t record that part), or how big they are, he just knows there are other worlds. Them assuming those worlds are planets analogous to their own conquests (which primarily take place on a single planet), would make sense. They only really express a desire to conquer the universe after already knowing about alternate worlds as a concept.
I’m asking why the quote is inherently referring to just their world right after they already discovered the existence of alternate worlds and expressed interest in conquering them.

But the previous stats were just High 5-A, and when I check the Chaos Emerald page it says the power of seven emeralds when not at full capacity is 2,165.67018 quettatons (when the 4-B value is 30 Foe). So does Chaos upscale from that by multiple times or is there another reason?

Frankly your replies are just really long and answering them in the way you write them takes up a lot of space, so I tried doing it this way.
My point was, the council not knowing they’re in a splintered universe also coincides with how the council has seemingly never left the confines of a single planet, so their knowledge of the scope of their own space and the wider Shatterverse is limited. So when they hear Sonic mention the idea of parallel versions of characters within their space, that likely sparks up the idea that these other spaces fall more in line with alternate dimensions rather than just parts of their universe. And universes can contain small space times within themselves (I.e hyperbolic time chamber). So if the Eggmen say they want to conquer the universe, multiple non-universe sized space times can still fit in that vision.
The strange new multiverse thing can also just be referring to alternate space times of non universe size spatially, which doesn’t qualify for uni+ and can work cuz none of the shatterspaces show anything like galaxies within them, and if the void is the space between the shatterspaces it can hold thousands of MSS tier spaces within it and still be just universe sized, which would make sense if this entire multiverse came from breaking a single universe into pieces.
But they didn’t mention “their world”, specifically. They just talked about “the universe”
