Sonic General Discussion Zone Act 1: New Frontiers

Ok, saw it. This scan is moreso a joke played off between "Princess Sally" (Amy) and Sonic. In the actual game he just ran at Light Speed until he reached a Hyperspace. That's what the text is hinting at.
It's not "Amy", it's really that the American Manual made up its own story since the US had made its own continuity (As told in Sonic's Bible). I don't know if there's enough content for "Early American Sonic" to have a profile for those stories, or even what would count as being part of that continuity.

Makes sense, I was under the impression that they just changed her name to fit the American Canon for some reason. Why did this even get passed into the manual?

I mean I think it would be cool if there were Early American Profile for Sonic. There is a Novel or two on American Canon (although they're used for Powerscaling slop sadly).

Because back then, Sega of America made their own canon. The storylines from the manuals and other Western Sonic media followed their own background, so there's a lot of crazy stuff that is in stuff like Stay Sonic or the old Bible versions that pop-up all over the place in those media (Like, some stuff like the Warp of Confusion that appears in AoStH comes from the early Sonic bible). They just were doing what they were building up.

Or more directly, some of the bible copies directly mention that all lore had to come from the development of that bible as a rule for the way the Sonic Brand was managed in the West, but it didn't last much.

To Quote the bible itself.

Yeah I knew that, I'm just wondering why they thought this description would remotely fit the Game
