Plot: Goku was searching for a rare Pokemon and then he found an Infernape. Excited, he decided to use another Pokemon against it. But, without any Pokemon, he realized HE could be the Pokemon!

Gotta give this to infernape. He can raise his special attacking fire moves with calm mind, while using his already more preferred physical moves and inflicting burn on Goku with fire punch with severely cripples Goku. Infernape should be able to deal with any range game Goku has with his flamethrower or fire blast, then he can Mach punch up close after boosting his physical stats to knock Goku down.

Although Infernape can't boost his physical moves (no TM moves) all he needs to do is use nasty plot and hit goku with fire blast any damage goku inflicts can be healed with slack off. Voting for Infernape.
