so quick question about spider-man's webs

so when spider man fights someone who is similar or stronger than him...he usually wraps his hands in webs as some sort of way to boost his AP and striking strength


how does that work? and how much does it increase his AP gap?

wanted to ask so i could put him against a certaint female character who punches really hard

huh so thats out of the question. anyways...how exactly does it work? how does wrapping web on his fists increase the damage of the punch?

It's probably less about hitting harder and more about protecting his hands, so he can punch harder without risk of breaking his fingers- just like a boxing glove.
