It might be a bad idea but always keen to try Courier matches and thought this might be good if both had a match with Emily Kaldwin

Plot: Courier takes a package through New York, Strange wants it cause reasons.

What exactly does Dr. Strange have that'll help him defend against The Courier slowing down his perception of time with Vats and using literally any laser-based weaponry, which should vaporize regardless if he scores a critical hit or not since Dr. Strange doesn't have any form of heat resistance on his profile?.

He also wouldn't be able to reliably react towards or physically dodge the attack since it travels at the speed of light, something that's massively above Dr. Strange's own reaction times.

Hmmmmm, would changing the starting distance help? Say 100 meters apart with neither having line of sight so that way Strange could set something up?

In-character Strange usually starts off defensively by firing up his shields, though sometimes he does just go straight for incap via the Cloak of Levitation if the enemy is that aggressive

Courier looks like some post apocalyptic cowboy would that tip Strange off to use the cloak? Iirc Courier starts either with Vats or social influencing to try and get out of the fight.

If the Courier gets stuck in the cape, nothing stops them from just talking their way out and convincing Strange from surrendering or at least letting them go which ends with him either getting Social Enfluenced or Vaporized by V.A.T.S.

It would definitely help, but even then the Courier has ways to counter Strange's starting move either through convincing Strange to recall the cape through the Courier's insane Social Influence or vaporizing the cape before it hits him. He could also pop a Stealth Boy before Dr. Strange sees him, which would completely nullify the effectiveness of the cape since i don't believe neither it nor Strange could actually see the Courier, which at that point he'd get instantly vaporized by Courier's laser weaponry, same outcome just harder for the Courier to actually achieve it.

It would still be a Courier W at the end of the day imo.

What "type" of extrasensory perception does Strange have? just having extrasensory perception to say, being able to sense magic would be completely useless against The Courier since he doesn't use magic/even have magic to begin with.

It's completely dependent on what typing he has.

It's completely dependent on what typing he has.

Well in particular he has enhanced sight since he was able to sense Loki coming to earth and was able to find odins exact location

Honestly I think that could be enough there, at the very least Strange knows Courier is somewhere in the area and no one else is around due to sba iirc
