smash ultimate has more evidence of canon(unlike the last one)its pit in ultimate palutena tells pit tips.and confirms the canon theory.pit says he fought palutena before(as in the 3ds kid ikarus game)and pit knows all these characters.and other peoples history.like inklings rose to power over the humans 12000 years ago.and link fell asleep for 100 years(in breath of the wild)that peach ges captured all the time.knowing what pokemon are and how they evolve.luigi year.nesses psi ect.they talk about the character how are they different characters?and there fighters to you know

Smash Pit and Kid Icarus Pit are completely different characters. Yeah, there are references, but that's just 4th wall breaking.

They reference each other yes but it isn't really canon at all. Like that would imply that every character in Smash shares a Multiverse which wouldn't be true going off of Xenoblade, Persona, Fire Emblem and many more.

We did. They just don't make sense like for example your history has Inklings take over 12,000 years ago yet we see Marth, Mario and many other human characters. Link was asleep for 100 years which means he was awake after the Inklings took over. We also have Ike who had most of the world flooded leaving only 1 continent left. We see Elma as a spirit which works against it even worse as Earth was destroyed in 2054 for her. List goes on.

Placing them all in the same universe does not work, placing them all in the same Multiverse does not work.

So same timeline, apologies but this makes little sense with all the contradicting lore from all the different franchises like such as characters like Inkling taking control of Earth but in Xenoblade Earth was destroyed twice .

If I'd say anything about Smash canon it does have Palu and Viridi brag about being higher dimensional.

Smash & KI Pit are the same, everyone else I'm unsure. We just don't scale them due to inconsistencies.
