Okay, so here's the deal. Currently, Peak Human is based on a deadlift of 501 kg; however, there is an even higher amount deadlifted. In one event, Jean-Francois Caron lifted exactly 1202 lbs, or 545.2 kg worth of Hummer tires.:
This would, in turn, set the bar higher for Peak Human. Honestly, if the weights people are deadlifting keeps going up, we would have to remove Class 1 from our chart in around 2050.
As for the minimum, I know the intention of the 227 kg figure was supposed to be for a weight of exactly 500 lbs, but the figure for 500 lbs is actually 226.796 kg, so the minimum should actually be listed as 226.8 kg on our chart.
So ideally, Peak Human would range from 226.8 kg to 545.2 kg.
On a side note, given speed has a conversion chart and lifting strength is a force thing, wouldn't it be ideal to have a conversion chart for Lifting Strength as well? It would only be fair, especially given force is listed in Newtons. For conversion purposes, the conversion factors go as follows.:
1 kg force = 9.80665 newtons
1 kg force = 2.20462262184877565 lbs
Yeah, let's go with that. But yeah, there ya have it.
