Under Kharn's standard equipment he's listed as having a Collar of Khorne. That is false, Kharn does not have one. He has the Blessing of the Blood God, a unique ability granted to him by Khorne as his greatest mortal servant.

As noted:

"Exceptional mortal Champions of Chaos are sometimes granted a Collar of Khorne by the Blood God to ensure no thrice-cursed psyker will lay such favoured servants low with his eldritch trickery. In the case of mortals, the favour of the Blood God does not always manifest as a physical collar; for instance Khârn the Betrayer, the most favoured of Khorne's current mortal servants, is utterly immune to any psychic power, yet his neck remains unadorned."

This is important as having a Collar of Khorne means that you can be affected by psykers and magic if it is removed or stolen, which can affect the outcome of a fight.

Derped hard on that one. I thought I remembered Codex: CSM 6th edition giving him a collar as standard, but checking back, it's actually the Aura of Dark Glory that was added (to replace his inherent 5+ invuln). Angron is stated to wear a *** along with having Khorne's blessings, but Kharn's nullification is indeed inherent regardless of any wargear.
