Shouldn't Beerus be 2-C

He and Champa were going to destroy Universes 6 and 7 by fighting, which is a 2-C feat. The wiki acknowledges this because it is the basis for the scaling of Whis and other Angels. However, shouldn't this be applied to Beerus and Champa as well? The Tiering System page says "Due to the fact that the distance between any given number of universes embedded in higher-dimensional / higher-order spaces is currently unknowable, it is impossible to quantify the numerical gap between each one of the subtiers in Tier 2. As such, it is not allowed to upgrade such a character based solely on multipliers. For example, someone twice as strong as a Low 2-C character would still be Low 2-C, and someone infinitely more powerful than a 2-C would not be 2-A." Doesn't this mean that 1/2 of 2-C is still 2-C?

I apologise if im dumb for this big boy brain shit but but if you already agree on beerus + champa being 2-C then wouldn't this mean that the difference between low 2-C and 2-C in the DBverse is 2 times?
Therefore, quantifiable?

Like even if you wanna disagree on 2-C
Beerus and champa (which contradicts the wikis own rule) and think that he should only be at least low 2-C then why disagree on 2-C
people who already scale 2 times above beerus level?

Also apparently the baseline for low 2-C DB is infinite zamasu?? Wasnt he already Becoming the distance between U7 and U6? That also makes him 2-C.
Consistent with the scaling

Since neither Beerus nor Champa can destroy 2 whole universes by themselves, which is the baseline requirement for 2-C, they aren't 2-C. Their combined power can destroy 2 universes, so their combined power is 2-C. Their combined power =/= 2x Beerus' power or 2x Champa's power, since simple multipliers don't work for combined attacks (you can read more about combined attacks in the Multipliers page). By themselves, both individuals will fall unquantifiably short of 2-C, but would be higher than baseline Low 2-C for sure.

So their combined power > Grand Priest? Makes sense

It's simple. Whis is assumed to be stronger than both Beerus and Champa combined. Beerus is not assumed to be stronger than both Beerus and Champa combined. Champa is not assumed to be stronger than both Beerus and Champa combined.

Ok, this one needs to be revised
Good luck with that. You'd need to create a staff thread but don't get your hopes up.

Yeah, pretty much, this isn't changing, assuming two characters that scale to each other in AP but aren't destroying anything or are only landing those attacks into another person, two attacks combined landing at the same time can't be assumed to stack up.

Only way you can combine them is if there is explicit confirmation that their attacks combine and add up overall or if there is a given statement that their attacks combined can destroy x (Then you just divide the yield required to blow up x by half to get the individual AP yield for the characters). Or if there is a calculated feat (Or there is a feat designated as X tier) and two characters pulled it off, then it is fine to assume they scale to half the yields of the attacks.

i'm also sure the 12 universes within the timeline are not low 2-C but that is a whole can of worms

Well, beerus is comparable to champa. So why does assuming someone is 2 times stronger then beerus would be = to both beerus and champa not work?

A = B = C
2A = B and C (combined)

I mean is there some dragon ball law where combining two powers (combination, not fusion) is not a 2 times multiplier?

Good luck, mate. you were a great warrior, I would make sure your name is remembered in the history of dragon-ball vsbattles.

Akm's reasoning actually makes sense this time tbh.

their combined power would be 2x their individual power... both are essentially relative to one another, and if the word combined denotes x+x no? and x+x is rewritten as 2x which quite literally is a multiplication of 2. Thats just algebra. If finite multipliers dont upgrade from low 2-c to 2-c then the reverse should be true, a finite division of that feat shouldn't downscale to low 2-c

I think it would be like, if X can damage Y, even just a small scratch, and Y is Low multi, then you would say X is also low multi, but just downscaling from Y. The same way, Champa and Beerus downscale from this low 2-C feat, and we know both of them are a significant part of the power needed for it. so based on that, I would assume it’s fair to have Beerus at low 2-c, but lower then baseline
