Should Starter Pokémon have access to the Starter Specific moves?

This is a serious question I've been having for a while, as technically, they're not learned naturally. However, no other Pokémon can have them. Only fire type starters can have Blast Burn or Fire Pledge. Same for water and grass. I don't know if we let them have it or not.

I think if we don't include TM's or Draco Meteor, we shouldn't include them.

I'd include them since in OR/AS onwards you can catch wild pokemon with egg moves.

@Pachi But they aren't egg moves, they are tutor moves and, if I'm not mistake, cannot be passed down.

So, yeah, it should be allowed.

Then they can have egg moves on their page, great. The question was about Fire/Water/Grass Pledge and Blast Burn/Hydro Cannon/Frenzy Plant, which are tutor moves and cannot be passed down.

Oh, god, Im too sleepy, sorry. Didnt read proprerly and for some reason I thought "Starter" meant "First evolution stage".

Well, then, they shouldnt, they must be trained and taught those moves.

Its okay, we all make mistakes when we're tired. In hindsight, my opening sentence there might have been a little rude, so I apologize for that.

Though am I correct in assuming egg moves can be used on the pages if they can be found in the wild with them, or would it only apply to the Pokemon species you can catch in ORAS?

Iirc they can have any egg move (one per pokemon), its random.

Not sure about the other part tbh.
