Self-evident intelligence revisions thread

Does he have literally infinite intelligence, which for example could make him able to invent technology that allows him to warp reality in almost any way up to an infinite scale? If not, that does not qualify for Supergenius. My apologies. 🙏

Freddy Krueger
Gifted -> Genius or Extraordinary Genius

One of Freddy's powers is killing people and absorbing their memories/skills. With a bodycount in the thousands, this by default should put him in the Genius range since he has the knowledge of countless people.

More specifically:

In the novel Suffer the Children, he manipulated scientists into creating a miracle drug that could give people superpowers. One person got clairvoyance, another dream manip, another fire blasts, etc.

In the novel Virtual Terror, he did the same thing with a company, creating 3-D posters that acted as portals between the Dream World and the real world

In the novel Blind Date, he posed as an opthalmologist, being able to accurately diagnose the cause of a girl's blindness and cure her with surgery which he states would otherwise take a team.

In another instance where he posed as a doctor in the first novel, Freddy showed psychological knowledge in being able to psychoanalyze the protagonist and tie her self harm to sexual frustration

The narrative device of another novel is also him essentially recapping everything he'd done, implying excellent if not photographic memory

This is a truly conceptually morbid, reprehensible, and disgusting character, but oh well.

Are the novels canon to the movies, and has it been established in canon that he can absorb other people's skills? 🙏

Yeah, they take place after FvJ and are commissioned to be original sequels

I think it's in the fifth or fourth NOES that he's shown using martial arts after killing a martial artist.

I suppose that "At least Genius" seems fine then. 🙏

Looks like at most Gifted imo.
4.2 GPA is Above Average
Being good at Gymnastics and martial arts to an unspecified degree is Average
Always trying to think ahead is like Above Average without specifics
For the computer simulation stuff, in the scan itself it just sounds like she's speculating, Average to Above Average for good intuition.
Forming a relatively clever (if loony tunes ahh) plan to stop a bad guy is like Above Average
Reading a lot of mystery fiction is Average lol
Having more technical/computer smarts then Ben Tenyson is nothing special, Above Average at best
Being better then Kid Ben at using the Omnitrix, without other justification about how skilled Kid Ben is Above Average

This is a collection of Average to Above average feats and statements, putting it all together I could see gifted (mostly due to the variety), but definitely not genius

Pennywise from "At least Gifted" to "Genius" at least

"Pennywise is an ancient, but very intelligent cosmic entity that has existed for millions of years, spending centuries terrorizing the residents of Derry, Maine throughout its recurring periods of dormancy and awakening. Over this immense lifespan, Pennywise has developed exceptional psychological insight of the Derry citizens, allowing it to consistently prey upon victims by exploiting their fears, traumas, insecurities, loved ones, and emotional weaknesses. Rather than relying solely on its overwhelming supernatural abilities, Pennywise typically studies its victims beforehand, tailoring its approach to each individual's personality in order to lower their guard and maximize fear before attacking. It has even demonstrated the ability to quickly read a person's emotional state and vulnerabilities, allowing it to manipulate them with remarkable precision. Beyond manipulating individual victims, Pennywise regularly orchestrates events on a much larger scale. It subtly influences the entire town of Derry to normalize or ignore its murders, allowing it to remain hidden from authorities despite centuries of mass killings. It is capable of exceptional levels of brainwashing and manipulation even without its abilities, most notably completely breaking Henry Bowers' sanity by gradually exploiting his abusive home life, manipulating him into murdering his own father, and ultimately turning him into an obedient pawn who devoted his life to hunting the Losers' Club. Much like with Bowers, Pennywise has done the same thing to individuals like Ingrid Kersh, turning her into a devoted and loyal proxy that has helped him secure easy victims throughout its time in Derry. Pennywise similarly manipulates victims by exploiting their personal insecurities, such as convincing Georgie to trust a complete stranger through carefully constructed conversation before using his missing sailboat as bait, or preying upon Victoria's insecurity over her birthmark by pretending to be a lonely outcast who simply wanted a friend, using emotional mirroring and reverse psychology until she willingly approached within striking distance. Owing to its nature as a cosmic entity, Pennywise is able to retain information across vast periods of time with little to no apparent degradation. It is capable of recognizing individuals decades after their previous encounters, as demonstrated when it immediately recognized General Shaw after several decades and deliberately assumed the form of the Skeleton Man that had haunted him during his childhood, even claiming to “never forget a smell,” implying a potentially photographic/olfactory memory. Pennywise is capable of operating as several entities simultaneously while interacting with different groups of people at the same time, which further demonstrates its extremely high cognition. Pennywise is also an exceptional strategist, consistently identifying the most advantageous opportunities to isolate, manipulate, and eliminate its victims. Rather than acting impulsively, it frequently engineers situations that force its targets into positions where they become mentally and physically vulnerable. It demonstrates this by separating the Losers' Club throughout the Neibolt House, preventing them from relying on one another while maximizing each member's individual fear in an attempt to overwhelm and eliminate them one by one. In 1962, after murdering Matty Clements, Pennywise deliberately set into motion a complex chain of events designed to manipulate Lily and her friends into investigating his disappearance, carefully guiding each of their decisions until they unknowingly walked into a trap at the abandoned theater. The resulting massacre became the catalyst for the Black Spot tragedy, as Pennywise further exploited the incident by amplifying the town's already-existing racial tensions, ultimately engineering a wave of violence and hatred that engulfed Derry and allowed it to harvest fear on a massive scale before entering its next hibernation cycle."

Imo you need more than a dubiously canon promotional card calling her "the voice of reason," and a single instance of her coming with a fairly simple plan before Max to upscale her over him, considering he's like a super-scientists space-cowboy, and also the best super-scientist space-cowboy in the galaxy according to another scan you sent me ()
Her solving the calculus with magic isn't done in her child era; people tend to get smarter between the ages of 10 and 16, you'd have to prove their comparable.
The heat blast plan is another Above Average feat.
Her figuring out the Omnitrix here is like legit basic reasoning. "Hey I blasted your Omnitrix with magic and it started malfunctioning, probably because I blasted it with magic. If I cast a reverse spell it might undo it," You don't have to be a Genuis to figure that out. As to her figuring out who Evil Way Big is, the scan is so out of context I have no idea how difficult that would be/how much evidence she had to work off of, but it sounds like you're trying to upscale her over the Galvan which is silly: One, consistency, two, the Galvan aren't smart because they're like Sherlock Homes and have supergenius reasoning, they're smart because they can make tier 1 technology---which Gwen obviously cannot do.

And yup, being better with the Omnitrix then Kid Ben is an Above Average feat because the scan where Azmuth said Ben was better at wielding it then himself, is NOT Kid Ben. Azmuth even says in the scan that when Ben first got the Omnitrix he sucked at it. Also, even if we're scaling Kid Ben to Teenage Ben, which you would have to prove, can you demonstrate that Azmuth is goated at using the Omnitrix? Obviously he made it, but inventing a gun doesn't make you a good shot.

  • Cards are accept as secondary sources, anyway it's not a simple plan, Max literally says he don't know how to stop them, when he literally greatest plumber in galaxy before he retirement, and learn many things in plumber academic, like superior combat skills, cultural sensitivity, interstellar laws, weapons, tactics and even starship maintenance, and has expert knowledge of alien life-forms and technology, and still Gwen was shown to be more intelligent than him. She literally knows nothing about Megawatts, and still was able to stop them
  • It is, Galvans has ability to understanding of things he has never even seen before, like Gray Matter, who has ability to know about Omnitrix's inner workings in "A Small Problem" episode, even Gray Matter was shown to be perfectly suited for investigative work and can easily solve mysteries using deductive reasoning like in "The Unnaturals" episode
  • Furthermore, knowing how to solve the Omnitrix's problem must be even higher than, since Omnitrix itself is, and she literally doesn't even say reverse spell, she say negative spell, And it's not the opposite spell of spell that used in Omnitrix, even Spells are different languages in Ben 10. I'm not trying to upscale her over the Galvan, but she is genuinely so clever that geniuses like the Galvans couldn't solve a problem like her.
  • She even shown to be superior to Charmcaster in learn of magic, as Spells are different language, Charmcaster says when Kid Gwen take her book, Gwen becomes more intelligent in magic more the herself "Charmcaster: I get it okay? You're a natural, I studied my whole life and you pick up my spell book and you're instantly out-magicking me."

  1. In context, Azmuth was referring to Ben when he was kid, he literally says "But then I saw you grow, witnessed your bravery and ingenuity, using the Omnitrix in ways that never even occurred to me. Me, the smartest being in three galaxies. Arguably, five galaxies.", He refers to Ben when he was between 10 and 11 years old before he gave up Omnitrix and then take it again in Alien Force
  2. Azmuth knows everything about Omnitrix, he even use it against Vilgax. Omnitrix is even level 20 tech, which is even higher than level 3 tech, which stated to be more complex for Earth people to use, and even it stated that Earth is at least 500 years away from being a Level 3 Planet (Ultimate Alien: Prisoner Number 775 is Missing)

First time here.

I think Alhaitham's intelligence should went from Genius to → Extraordinary Genius, and also add Genius Intelligence into his Powers and Abilities section. He is officially described as a man "endowed with extraordinary intelligence and talent," with his brilliance being acknowledged throughout Sumeru, the nation of wisdom.

At approximately seven years old, he was already reading abstruse academic journals intended for accomplished scholars, prompting his grandmother to recommend early admission to Sumeru Akademiya. After attending for only half a day, he concluded that the curriculum offered him little intellectual stimulation and preferred independently studying advanced academic literature instead. He later achieved exceptionally high marks on the Haravatat entrance examination and was simultaneously qualified to study across multiple Darshans (major).

And his roommate, Kaveh, says that he rarely forgets everything he read.
