SCP 173 was able to deal damage to 682 so would that mean an upgrade to SCP-173's attack potency?

Not quite. SCP-682's durability is quite Majin Buu-like. It can be hurt by things like gunfire, but it can still survive a nuke.

That's.. Half true. A nuke can supposedly kill SCP-682, but but The Brother's Death and/or its Regenerationn just brings it back to life.

Now, SCP-173 did do significant harm towards 682, a being with Large Building durability, though this wouldn't affect SCP-173's AP because this is considerbly an outlier, as after the event, SCP-173 went back to only harming necks and humans.
