Scope of "X is stronger than Y" statements

Basically the question, to what extent do we take such statements of some character being "stronger" or "more powerful" than some other character. Do we just assume its AP or do we apply it to other statistics like speed and resistances to hax of the weaker character?

Technically, something like "stronger" would just be for characters physically more powerful (i.e. hit harder and thats it), but often its used when the character is just overall superior than the other character, which usually results in higher speed, hax, skill, etc as well. Or sometimes characters would be stated to be "stronger" due to having better hax and/or speed without better physical strength.

How does being stronger than someone mean you are faster than them? Strength alone is not what defines someone's speed.
Normally in fiction the distinction really isn't made for two opponents of equal size, except in the case of giants but even that is a slippery slope. In some fictions size or bulk of muscle mass hardly ever tells you the strength difference when universal energy sources are involved.

Do you have any examples, and is this a standard on this site?

AFAIK it isn't an official standard on the site per se (Well, at least for verses without Universal Energy Sources where physical fights are involved), but it's what's the norm here, yes.

As for examples, sure. Here are some to look about.

But it doesn't feel right for it to apply as a general standard just because it applies to some verses. In some of the verses in that list you sent, there is confirmation being stronger doesn't mean you're faster , e.g Dragon Ball, Naruto and Star Wars

Yeah we don't usually apply those statements for speed unless context implies that it does. Otherwise it's AP and or LS as well as SS

Eh, no, those verses you listed have explicit confirmation of "higher energy usage = more speed, power and durability". You can ask the verse experts if you want to know more about them, it's even in the explanation pages of those energy sources.

It's a general standard for verses with Universal Energy Sources, I edited my prior comment.
