yes but the feat for 52 universes specifically into 2-C is from Barbatos who only has one key which is 1-A![]()
DC Heralds rescaling thread
Forgive me that this has taken so long, but irl stuff has gotten in the way a lot, but that's all out of the way (for now), let's do it. Sandbox ratings Above is what the new ratings for the current characters should look like. You may notice that not everyone is listed, and the reasoning for...vsbattles.com
All of DC's 1-A ratings come after the tiering system revisions since before the highest all cosmologies reached was 1-C. Although you're right in the sense that Barbatos was only seen as 1-A after the herald revisions were made which scaled them to his feat of affecting all 52 universes in the Orrery, because the previous DC revisions were such that Barbatos was only 2-C at that point.Barbatos' 1-A rating comes from before we revised the 1-A and above policies, and are hopefully added to the list of revisions. Whether Barbatos is less than 1-A, or would technically only scale to how strong characters are within the 6th dimension might be worth discussing. @VeryGoofyToddler2 might know more details about 1-A and above stuff, but I agree that if a 2-C feat comes from downscaling from a Tier 1 entity, it should be avoided.
Even so, they weren't handled the best; if they aren't Immeasurable outright in speed or LS, those are automatic anti-feat against 1-A ratings was something Ultima Reality mentioned. And either way, I find it hard to imagine any 3-D beings being downscale from a 2-C feat. If it's a reality warping or creation feat, not sure why anyone would scale durability wise. Likewise, if it was a destruction feat that various characters tanked, then I'm not sure why anyone would fully scale from it. And at best, individuals being Low 2-C due to surviving their own universes (Or universes they were in) being destroyed is the more likely interpretation. All of DC's 1-A ratings come after the tiering system revisions since before the highest all cosmologies reached was 1-C. I'm only asking this in knowledge of the above in wanting to know whether or not this was all sorted out to begin with after these changes were made, because obviously as you noted the two ratings seem rather inconsistent with each other.
Not sure I agree with all that (especially on the downscaling 2-C part while 3-D, but that might just be a misunderstanding on my part), but what do you think we should do here?Even so, they weren't handled the best; if they aren't Immeasurable outright in speed or LS, those are automatic anti-feat against 1-A ratings was something Ultima Reality mentioned. The scaling thread for the new cosmology revisions wasn’t completed from what I looked at after I put up this thread, but the Orrery as a whole is scaled as L1-A now and anyone who scales to that would be put there. Not sure why Barbatos is just 1-A and Alpheus isn’t in either of his keys though. L1-A for Anti-Monitor doesn’t make sense either since he’s powered by the Anti-Life Equation in that key, and we scale that to 1-A otherwise on its profile. We probably need another CRT to sort this all out.The bigger question is why is Barbatos even 1-A to begin with? Nothing in the AP section seems even suggest that beyond it all being Tier 2. His scaling to the World Forger doesn't make sense either considering the World Forger is both Low 1-A and 1-A+, so where does 1-A even come from?
And why is World Forger's in multiverse self even Low 1-A? His profile states it's because he's comparable to Monitor and Anti-Monitor, but all of Monitor's AP justification are just 2-C, and Anti-Monitor's Low 1-A key either only has feats that suggest him to be Tier 2, and states he's comparable to his COIE self, but his COIE self is only 2-C. Just who applied all this? Because all of this is a mess.
Unless I'm missing something, all of the above should be downgraded back to 2-C.
If it wasn't completed, then why are the tiers updated without any changes to the justification? What's with the half baked edits. The scaling thread for the new cosmology revisions wasn’t completed from what I looked at after I put up this thread, but the Orrery as a whole is scaled as L1-A now and anyone who scales to that would be put there.
