Hmm... This is tough. See, I don't know if Sans could hit these things or not. If not, Sans doesn't have a lot of willpower. He would give them trouble at first, but he would quickly give up as soon once he realized it was hopeless.

Sans is determined, sure, but he's in a point in his life where he's very close to giving up. Plus, can he even hit them?

Sans has quite some good determination. It isn't Chara. I don't see him losing to anybody else. His soul attacks have quite the decent chance of hitting. He takes a large advantage and, although it's not a decisive win, it's his win.
