Sad Larry vs Phoenix (Mythology)

Well, this might be a little out of the way. So, we got Sad Larry, whose main shtick is being suicidally depressed because the world isn't at all in his favor, against a phoenix, the bird of rebirth and a bird of prey (in appearance) that doesn't necessarily like killing for food apparently. For this thread, the combatants are 50 meters apart. This distance should allow Larry enough time to react to a flippin' dive-bombing bird-of-prey of all things. Anyway, here are their profiles.:

Before you ask, the Phoenix's durability is listed as unknown because it is identical in build to an eagle, yes, but who knows if that thing's bones are as fragile as any other bird's? Anyway... who takes this?

Can larry do anything to actually win here? None of his abilities seem attack oriented, and luck seems to only work in so far as him not dying. It seems like he can still be seriously hurt. At the absolute worst, even if the phoenix spontaneously dies by some meteor falling from the sky, it'll be inconclusive as it'll die in a violent explosion of flame with too much AoE for Larry to avoid, which seems like it would force an inconclusive.

As neat as this seems, I'm not sure if Larry really has any wincons here.

About the only wincon I can really think of is Larry's luck or lack thereof, I dunno what you wanna call it... But like you said, it hasn't been used in Larry's favor THAT way. Of course the phoenix does have a wincon of its own, be it its resurrection or its Regenerationn, however you interpret the whole ash thing.

Larry's luck only makes it so that he can't kill himself. It doesn't have any effect on the phoenix. So the phoenix just kinda, pokes him. And Larry gets the death he's been trying so hard to get.
