(RP) Legion Of Man - An Intermission

I get up and tackle the nearest criminal before using his body to block any bullets shot at me. While they reload, I grab the gun in the corpse's pocket and shoot at the hands and legs of the criminals with guns to incapitate them.

Man, I'm glad I practiced my skills with a gun before all of this stuff happened.

A drunk man yells, "THIS MEANS WARRRR!"

Natasha is in the corner, laughing her ass off at the all the panic. "Don't strain yourselves ahahahah..."

"I feel pretty bad considering how hammered these guys are. It's like beating up on kids they're so pathetic." I say, continuing to swing the bat.

Natasha remembers something. "Oh, one more thing."

"You have to murder them all. Put them to death." she says, with a sick grin.

"Eh, okay." I say as I pull out my gun and shoot all the remaining men alive.

Natasha pauses for a second.

"You aren't at all weak-minded like I expected... which is concerning. You were crying for dear life when a little girl made threats to shoot you a few weeks ago?" she laughs again. "Maybe we've already made you into professional criminals."

The personel who previously escorted the men walk forward and begin dragging the various bodies out of the room.

Natasha sighs. "Color me surprised. I guess we need to keep extra surveilance on you. Anyway, who wants to kill Miriam?" she asks.

"I mean she hasn't really done anything to make me want to kill her and we're kinda working together sooo... gonna have to say not me to that."

"... Because she's evil? Come on, don't tell me you guys haven't thought of just, you know, striking her nine year old head in?"

"I have, but I know that I'm going to die very fast if I try. She's helping us anyway, so it'd also be counterproductive."

"Not particularly, no. If this is another morality test, I'd like to remind you that you are specifically advocating violent methods, and then appear to be surprised at the fact the people who are afraid of someone who brings in murderers to train will listen to said person, which seems like a flawed system, honestly."

Natasha kicks Michael in the dick.

"Way to ruin the party, loser. I was just seeing if anyone was dumb enough to tell me they were planning on killing Miriam."

The doors swing open.

Miriam stands at the entrance to the gym facility.

"I'm back from my business. What about killing me?"

Natasha points at Michael. "He confessed to me that he was going to kill you, maam."

Miriam nods as she walks towards Natasha, pulling a handgun from a little purse.

"Oh, I see."

"Well then you can consider me the Supreme Darkness." Miriam replies, approaching Michael further. "Are you really telling me to trust you over Natasha? Why?"

[What if RW is fiction in this universe or something stupid like that? It's one way to explain the refrences that I don't get.]

[It's just some jokes guys, chill.]

Miriam finally stops in front of Michael, gun pressed into his stomach.

"Do you not wish to defend yourself? If not I have no reason to trust you. Consider what you say next carefully, it may be your final words."

"Let's cosider the following. You have no reason to trust me over someone you've worked with for years, so I wouldn't really have any reason to assume you would. Now, assuming that I was in fact dying to kill you, I would not reveal it, especially since I know you have the guts to kill me for a few words. Now, taking that into consideration, try and formulate what most logically occurred while your gone. Also, if you do kill me, tell Natasha not to reveal your keeping tabs on us just because she's mad at someone, m'kay?"

"I don't like your answer."

Miriam pulls the trigger. There's a click, but nothing else.

She drops the empty gun onto the floor, walking to Natasha. "I already know Natasha was lying, I wasn't going to kill you." she says, jumping into her assistants arms as she gets picked up off the floor, hugging each other.

Natasha chimes in, "Your argument is too lengthy for consideration. If you tried it on any other psychopath they would have killed you mid-sentence. You need a hook, and you to to say what you're going to say fast."

Miriam turns her head to everyone. "Oh, yes, the mission. I suppose I'll do debriefing later, I'm sleepy and I don't really care too much."
