oh boi lets see how this is going to end. James Bond has been sent on the mission of a lifetime: Kill the man with the really dangerous revolvers. I'll be editing this match to make it as fair as possible, but for now, Bond has 9-A weaponry outside of the Vanquish, and he has ten minutes of prep time before he can approach Roland.

Fight takes place in a Casino in Las Vegas.

Speed is equalized.

Roland Deschai:

James Bond:

I'm unsure. I'm about to read the dark tower franchise soon, but with James being upgraded to Wall+, he should physically be superior. What does Roland 'do'?

As far as I know he shoot

gun.

Also doesn't that mean a lot of James's matches are gone?

Well, James is 88mj with 9-A rockets

Anyway, I think Bond has this. Given his fighting style and use of stealth, he'd use invisibility to avoid the revolvers and down beat him down with superior AP. Even without it, his stealth mastery should be better due to better training. Bond's also an expert at detecting firearms and would know not to get in close with revolvers in a gun fight, and would do whatever he could to disarm Roland eventually. With prep he can easily find out what to do and even if he decides to shoot first, he never shoots up close and would know then to avoid the revolvers.

Then his superior AP comes in and gives him he win

I feel like you're ignoring a lot of Roland just as a whole with that, because his enhanced senses and perception are bloody stupid, with him being able to see things miles away and hear a drop of water in an active battle. I'm sure he could hear a guy in silence.

Superior AP doesn't mean much when one hit kills either opponent.

How would he know the revolvers would be able to one shot him or are any more dangerous than a normal gun? He wouldn't, because that's not how this works. He would likely think the revolvers are just normal revolvers.

Instinctive reaction also helps a lot to avoid a lot of things, combined with his perception. I don't see how he's going to disarm Roland when Roland wouldn't allow him to get close.

Wasn't really ignoring. I have no idea what Roland does that's why I asked hahah

If he can do all that then I don't think James has a chance to be honest. To be fair though, normal revolvers or not, Janes wouldn't actively seek them out hahah

I mean yeah fair enough. I don't know a lot about Roland either. I know he shoots guns, have stupid senses and a lot of things to make him survive. That's just me going off his profile though. Sorry, wasn't trying to accuse you.

I mean, the ONLY way James can win is if he has prior knowledge on Roland and knew about his revolvers. Even then it's very iffy

fastest hand in the west
Ironically, this would be incorrect.

Gunslingers who failed their training were the ones who were exiled and "sent West" in shame. So the "fastest hand in the West" would actually be considered a failure by the Affiliation.

(Yes, I enjoy ruining things, thank you for asking...)

Anywho...

I can tell you right now that stealth isn't going to work out too well. Roland has an innate ability to sense when he's being watched or followed, as well as the exact moment they stop watching him. He even did this with Mordred when the latter was miles away from him and Susannah.

He's also capable of scenting people from far away, seeing things two hours of walking before a man with 20/20 vision can make them out, and pulling off shit like this.

As for AP, I dunno the exact number Bond's going to be, but Roland was door-shattering level when he was only fourteen, and his durability (whether we scale his physical AP to it or not) is somewhere in the 5.2 MJ range.

...

That's not Wall+. 20.92 MJ is baseline 9-A, and that's a great deal beyond that.

Not really. Both still one-shot each other hilariously, and Roland isn't losing his enhanced senses (Which were one of the main things that got him the win to begin with) anytime soon.

If it yielded 5 MJ, it's factually Wall+, seeing as that's only ~4x lower than the peak of the tier.

Wait sorry I think I've got myself confused hahaha

James as it's stands is only wall level. He should be Wall+ for that feat but right now he's not 5mj. Just take a look in his profile ignore what I'm saying hahaha I've been working so much I'm totally knackered. Maybe it was 515j I dunno

Alright, now I'm lost...
I'll run it down for you.

I've forgotten the exact value of James AP

He'd be 5mj once he's upgraded to wall level+ but as of now I have no idea what his AP is because I'm tired and can't remember

I believe you mean kJ

If he was 515 mJ that's high into Small Building. You should be saying 515 kJ
