Roblox DOORS Discussion Thread: The Hotel

There wasn't a discussion thread for this game yet lol.

All about the roblox game DOORS! Discuss how bad im at making profiles or something lol.

Huh. I kinda thought a Figure profile would be the first to come up cause he has a door smashing feat that was recently upgraded from wood to metal

Idk, in the death animation it looks like they’re charging right at/into you
The devs specifically gave Rush and Ambush really big ass hitboxes.

but fair nough, i think getting the kinetic energy of Rush and Ambush moving would be useful.

So, when is Rush, Ambush and Screech getting profiles?
Rush and Ambush need calcs to their speed/KE before they get profiles, as without that they'd be a shit ton of 'unknown' ratings

Screech will get one once Seek gets his page revamped, because right now it actually sucks.

Are there any updates on the creation of Rush and Ambush's pages?
calc was never done, which is basically the only thing that really gives either of those character's a point for a profile. I was also working on a player profile though.

Right now? fixing Seek's profile is my main priority. it's not that great statistics wise.

Oh, mk

If Screech is getting a profile, what tier would he be? Speaking of which, when is he getting a profile?
Basically, heres the scaling i've got going for everyone

At least 9-C (Figure; scales to pounding open the metal door)

9-C (Seek, Rush, Ambush, general one shot entities; either downscale from Figure, or are baseline 9-C for one shotting humans. depends on the entity)

10-A (Screech, Dupe, Hide, Glitch, general entities who don't one shot you; Scale to the player)

10-C (Timothy; Cannot conventionally kill the player by any means, unless the itchy modifier is on)

So with this, would Screech, Dupe, Glitch, etc. get a profile?

Bumping this. There's some things in this game that need to be discussed. Like new entity profiles, game items, calcs..? etc.

I've been wanting to calculate Figure's speed which would scale to the entire verse but the calculation was rejected due to lack of sources for his speed multipliers. We definitely have enough now to make a Player profile though. Thanks to The Hunt update, we also have definitive proof that Figure and Seek are superior to other entities in the Hotel (Player has the ability to survive a single attack from Rush and Ambush, both of whom normally oneshots them, with Starlight vials but Figure and Seek don't give a crap and still oneshots them regardless).

The general consensus is that:

Top tiers: Figure, Seek

Mid tiers: Player (durability with items), rush, ambush, dupe, Screech

Low tiers: player, general entities which don’t harm the player.

Timothy: Timothy

Unknown: guiding light (and its replacement depending on the floor your on), Glitch

Would the Guiding Light (And by extension Curious Light when in The Rooms/Backdoor I guess) be Standard Equipment for the Player? It helps them out a lot at least in the Hotel and is apparently responsible for some of the items like Crucifixes and Candles working the way they do. Also, should we treat the Player respawning as canon or not? Guiding Light seems to acknowledge that as a fact both after a game over and with the use of revives.

Liar. Timothy is God Tier.

If we do consider respawning canon, should we also include that Ambush can apparently null revives if you’re caught cheating?

Not sure because certain segments of the game have revives prohibited too such as the Greenhouse, Electrical Room, and The Rooms.

Yes.

The Guiding light specifically recalls your previous deaths, knows what entities kill you most often, and knows what hasn't killed you yet. the player resurrecting is canon. the actual respawn item i have no idea if it's canon. it probably is.

Damn. At the very most he should have about Peak Human - Superhuman speed. I also thought since it's the official DOORS wiki, the multiplier sources would be reliable.
We definitely have enough now to make a Player profile though.
Any physicals (AP, Striking, etc.) from the Player that scale anywhere?

I thought The Hunt update wasn't canon (I haven't really played it), guess I was wrong. I always thought Figure was superior to the other entities due to his abilities and physical AP feats (like busting open a metal door). But damn, never knew could survive Rush and Ambush. Speaking of which, they really need the kinetic energy of them rushing (no pun intended) through the hallways.

Ah, mkk.
Here are abilities for some of the items;

Crucifix: Holy Manipulation and BFR
Bandages/Vitamins: Speed Boost and Healing
NVCS-3000: Night Vision
NVCS also reveals the locations of important items specifically so it's probably Extrasensory Perception as well.
Another item with ESP is the Candle as the flame will always extinguish on its own when it detects the presence of a hostile entity.
Vials/Bottles of Starlight also gives a speed boost (Can be stacked with vitamins), makes the Player glow, and heals. If the Player uses it at full health, it instead gives them a layer of "overheal" that lasts for several seconds. This is what enables them to survive attacks from Rush and Ambush even though it would normally be impossible.

Nice

Which ability would this be

So.. Aura or Limited Light Manipulation. And the speed boost qualifies more for Peak or Superhuman speed

Supernatural Willpower?

Edit: Nvm, I don't think that's Willpower
