Robin vs Aang

Immediate reaction. Robin would likely be the more skilled of the two not only being older but also being trained by Batman. There's also a question of how thorough Aang's training is since he's trying to learn all the elements in a very short period of time.

But also Robin has fought "benders" of various sorts before. Hot Spot is a fire bender. Lightning is a lightning bender. Terra is an earth bender. Raven is arguably an earth bender. Aqualad is a water bender. Plasmus is arguably a water bender.

While arguably stronger, Aang would be nothing particularly new to Robin.

But I don't think anyone Aang has fought is comparable to Robin being a non bender with an arsenal of trick weapons and gadgets.

Well Aang was taught by about the best benders of his time. Water was mainly self taught since it comes naturally to him. But Earth was taught by Toph who’s like the best earthbender in history, learning from the creators of it and inventing the Seismic Sense which Aang learned plus Metalbending. And Zuko was a master firebender plus Aang also learned from Dragons who are the creators of firebending. I think Robin likely is more skilled due to training and experience with more varied foes, but Aang is notable himself.

Robin definitely has the edge in fighting people unlike him. Especially since he resists fire which is one of Aang’s more firepower heavy bending forms. He could punch Hotspot with no damage. He also beat Terra who while not as great at Toph was still pretty skilled with her earth powers. And Aang hasn’t fought non benders to my knowledge, especially not with Robin’s tech. A lightning disc could disable him like when Azula killed him in season 2.

Not denying it. But trying to catch a flying dude who can push you using air sounds insane.
Yes but then you have guys like Gizmo who did have true flight along with a back-mounted machine gun and rocket launcher. Along with his allies like Raven and Starfire. Also Mad Mod's flying statues.

Also Robin does have his grapple. Aang could snap it with his LS but Robin has used catch to catch midair enemies before. That and his discs.

You cannot make a bubble of bullets around yourself. Aang can literally repel anything Robin throws.

Well he’ll have to be reacting to everything Robin does which is a lot more than what he’s seen one person do. In Avatar everyone has one ability. Aang’s fighting style mainly revolves around dodging instead of overpowering opponents which is why he found it so hard to learn earth bending which requires being upfront. Also keep in mind Robin has fought element users with better LS than him.

Can he not create a wind sphere around himself? I thought I've seen that done before but maybe I'm wrong.

Like a big air shield? Maybe, though I don’t know how likely that is or how long it’d last. He did surround himself with water to save his life before he got trapped in ice. And he used earth to keep himself away from Ozai, though that quickly failed.

yeah aang can make omni directional wind and p much any bending with ease

Not as far as I know. At least not in a true way.
He has had several freak out moments where he engulfed himself in an air bubble. But Katara has casually stuck her hand through it.

Then there was when he goes into the avatar state where his air bubble does seem to reflect everything at one point splattering Ozai against it like a bug on a wind shield. But this is only seen in the avatar state.

Even if we extend it. Tenzin's air scooter is an air bubble but it's never been used defensively.

Even if Aang could bring up an omni-directional bubble shield, so can Raven. Who Robin has taken down.
