In each of the first two Etrian Odyssey games, you face off against a pair of opponents that use your own skills against you. So what would happen if these pairs were to face off against each other? Who would come out on top?
Setting: The Frozen Grounds of Lagaard's Yggdrasil Labyrinth. Visil has ordered Ren and Tlachtga to retreive the Grail of Kings from the top, and they passed all the way into the third stratum. However, they come across Guild Esbat, who are determined to make sure no explorers get past them, no matter the cost. Both sides are prepared to kill in order to reach their goal.
Rules: Both sides are allowed to use all of the skills of their respective classes, as well as any skills that may be unique to them. Neither side is allowed Grimoire stones, and no Ariadne Threads either. Neither side can use items. Each side is assumed to have unlimited TP as well. And that's all the rules.
So who will win? Will it be the Towering Pair, or the Guardians of the Sorrowful Ice?
R&T: zero votes
Esbat: zero votes
(Also, in case you're unaware, the members of Esbat are Artelinde and Wilhelm)
