Ren casually bypasses lol low-godly and lol adaptation with lol almighty.

Granted GEOM did too but he doesn't count.

Isn't bypassing regen and bypassing adaptation two things that are required to beat 682 physically? If you can't bypass those two, you can't kill him. By that logic, every 682 defeat would be a stomp.

I don't know, I'm not sure if this is fair or not, because I'm not that familiar with SMT, but I personally don't think "Ren can kill 682 because he bypasses the things that would prevent 682 from getting killed" is a good reasoning to call this a stomp

I'm gonna give my two cents on the fight even though I'm OP.

682 has resistance to most of Akira's stuff, except for Almighty attacks. I'm not sure the properties of black holes 682 throws. Are they like existence erasure or smth?

Ren has resurrection so if 682 kills him he can come back, and Almighty attacks which bypass Low-Godly and Reactive Evolution.

682's universe bust, I believe Ren can just TP to the Metaverse, though I'm not sure how it would work if uhh... humanity is dead.

SMT has quite a few mid-godly regenerators.

Pretty sure Almighty nulls them completely.

Ren's Almighty is still Shin Megami Tensei Almighty. Though I'd have to ask Matt to be sure.

Also doesn't everyone and their mother in SMT bypass Mid-Godly?

Just to point out, what Ren will do depends on the player, and the game encourages you to throw random stuff to find Weaknesses. I'm pretty sure he wants to negotiate with SCP to list him in the compendium when he fight the lizard, which is impossible.
