Removing (Storm) Hagoromo's Fate Manipulation

Storm Hagoromo has this on his profile:

Possibly Resurrection, Statistics Amplification, Healing, and Fate Manipulation (Should any Shinobi get KO'd or killed in story mode, Hagoromo will appear and allow them to continue the battle, giving them the option of increasing either their attack or defense power for the remainder of the battle and restoring their health. When a Shinobi dies before their destined death, Hagoromo states that they aren't supposed to go to sleep yet, and can choose their own path and walk again, allowing them to change and choose their own fate[2])

However, if you watch the video linked for the justification, there is 0 mention of changing or choosing fate whatsoever. When Hagoromo says "choose your own path and walk again" he's talking about which buff you choose (offense or defense), and you can see that clearly as the two paths you get to choose are the AP amp or the durability amp. The justification is very misleading and doesn't reflect what Hagoromo says and what were shown in the video itself. All Hagoromo is doing is amping and reviving the fallen Shinobi, throwing them back into the fight. No part of this has anything to do with manipulating fate.
