Found out about this meme, so may as well

Base Subaru is used, speed equalized

Regulus: 3 (@BoastJr, @Ebihara, @SatellaTheWoE)

Subaru: 0

Per SBA characters are at peak, so uh... Subaru's best wincon is nuking the universe with strings, given that'd implicitly nuke the wives too and thus shut down Regulus's time hax in the proces
Patrick never even did that feat, so putting that as his 'best win condition' is kinda funny. Like, he could theoretically do that, sure, but the chance of him doing that in-character is incredibly small. SBA doesn't help either. SBA puts them in character at their strongest. It doesn't mean that he just pulls out his strongest attack, though, lol.

Anyway, Patrick lacks spatial hax + physics dura neg resistance and has no in-character way to actually damage Regulus. He gets one-tapped, and this is practically a stomp.

Correct me if I am wrong but he does have a way to stop Low Godly Regen ?

Or can he incap Patrick by continuing to blow him up

Well, it's still in the profile as an ability he has, but I can concede on the second point of it not being in-character, although I bring up SBA as that means that the higher showings of his intelligence are being used, meaning that there's a reasonable chance for him to consider it if it becomes clear to him that just using brute force won't do.

Eh, Patrick has really good regen, so the match doesn't end that early, unless he can negate it in some way.

How is the Low-Godly negation induced? Given that the phrasing implies that he doesn't lead with that.

On the bright side this doesn't seem to be a stomp as both have a win condition, but it does seem like Regulus has the advantage out of having a wincon more in-character compared to Patrick.

It's a stretch to even call that a win condition for Patrick because he never even did it in the series. And Patrick also has much more in-character moves that don't work. Also even if he did start pulling string, he would actually not be able to undo the universe because of their equalized speed.

I mean, he did use it to unravel Spongebob, and don't think about the speed too hard...
  • Abilities based on speed are assumed to be retained. Characters that can run over water via speed can, for example, still do so even if now technically too slow for that. Likewise, a character who can create a tornado by running fast in a circle can still create one in this manner, even though they are now running slower.
    • As a result, Immeasurable characters that get speed equalized retain their ability to travel through time, even if it now isn't via speed anymore.

Only when the string was placed in front of him. It was still spongebob who evoked the power of the string in the first place.

And he can't even touch/interact with Regulus... he can't use the strings on him specifically.

If you don't wanna call this a stomp whatever but there's like a 99.9% chance Regulus slams him.

Its pretty close to 0 diff. but patrick does have a win con Id personally consider "viable" in the way he "could" use it. Ill vote regulus FRA

There still has never been a good regulus thread. Ill see yall next time for the same damn thing.

I can't stop thinking that if this was squidward, he could potentially win via his horrible music skills
Regulus is not stopping sound I think...

He wouldn't normally stop sound but he could if he had to. His power is literally the ability to prevent any outside influence. He cannot be changed by anything he doesn't want to be.
