Regarding Superboy-Prime

Since he's around Pre-Crisis Superman's level of power, should he be "4-B normally. 3-B at his peak" like everyone else scaled to Superman?

No. For some reason he has a legitimate 3-A level feat in ripping apart Monarch's armor, and withstanding the universe-destroying explosion point blank.

Okay. Well, he never demonstrated anywhere close to tier 3-B during his original appearance, or his appearances Post-Countdown. Characters of much lower tiers were consistently able to post a problem for him.

In fact, he is a pretty good example of Marvel and DC Plot Induced Stupidity. In one moment he defeats Mister Mxyzptlk, and the next he is defeated by the Teen Titans.

Wasn't Mxy "depowered" during that appearance? Granted, it's not a good excuse, but at least it's an excuse.

I do not think so, no. It was just more of the usual Marvel and DC complete lack of logical coherence.

Yes, but she should not have been able to. Neither of them should have been able to inconvenience a higher-dimensional beyond multiversal entity.

Like I said, it's not a good excuse. At all.

But it's an excuse.

It just shows they're at least attempting to (poorly) justify why things are happening.
