In the new episode of Dragon Ball Super, it is revealed that the tournament would be held in a place without space or time. Unless they train and get massive buffs, there should be no way the likes of Krillin, Tien, 18 and 17 should be capable of making it there. Existing outside/without space-time is a 4D feat if I recall. And this is the second time we have seen it. Goku and Trunks went back after Zeno destroyed the space-time continuum of Trunks's world, where space and time no longer existed.

Unless we are upgrading everyone from Roshi and up to 4D, I don't think dimensional tiering should apply to Dragon Ball. It clearly doesn't care about it. Even Hercule of all people will be able to exist there.

Characters could still be Universal+, Multi-Universal, etc, however they would have their own guidelines, or just treat it like training from Solar System level to Galaxy level. Dimensions should not apply.

Exactly my point. There is no way in hell Krillin will be 4D.

Dimensional tiering should not apply to Dragon Ball. If it was once, it could be treated as inconsistent, but this is twice in two sagas.
 
Actually, just existing in places without spacetime wouldn't result in a tier change, similar to how moving through higher dimensional space is no reason for a stat change.

Only if you are superior to spacetime it would result in tier changes.
 
And I think Ant already create a thread to discuss this matter, that why Zen'ō is downgrade to MFTL from infinity speed due to he can move in place without time.
 
dbs literally doesnt care about dimensions, space, time or whatever. they just do whatever the hell they want lmao. so nobody is getting upgraded.

That only talks about infinite speed, not an entirely different dimensional layer. And being capable of existing outside space-time is 4D, is it not? I've brought this up as a feat before and not once has anyone that mods this place told me "Existing outside space-time is not 4D".

I am, once again, not trying to get infinite speed DB cast. I am pointing out that dimensional tiering officially does not matter to Dragon Ball.

I am not trying to upgrade DB characters. I am trying to say dimensional tiering is irrelevant. I said unless we want 4D Hercule, it needs to no longer apply to the verse.

Prove they are restricted by dimensions. They've been shown twice to not be.

Goku is currently listed as 3D but has done one thing only 4D characters can do, and is about to do it again.

If that were the case, why are Dragon Ball characters constantly getting downgraded based o their dimensional status? And why are upgrades denied because of dimensional tiering, and the application of M-Theory withi said verse?

In essence, eve if you were correct, it wouldn't have any relation whatsoever to the point of this post. Advancing a point which was never made? That's a straw-ma If I've ever seen one.
 
Where have I attacked you or anyone else? I have had to repeat myself multiple times, and my point is seemingly being ignored. I don't think of my opinions as superior to anyone elses, but I feel as if I am talking to a brick wall. I bolded my point as it was seemingly not getting across.
 
This thread is nonsensical, existing in a 4-D doesn't automatically make you 4-D, moving through higher dimensional space doesn't automatically make you higher dimensional either, being superior to space-time would result in an upgrade. Also there is such a thing as pis, fiction doesn't always make sense.

And i think it's banned or something to attack our tiering system, saying the tiering system doesn't apply might be grounds for warnings or a ban.

im not saying that the concept of dimensions are irrelevant in dbs. what im saying is trying to UPGRADE a character based on dimensions is irrelevant.
 
I actually don't think Sparky did anything wrof, other than give a small amount of misinformation. He hasn't tried to affect the tierig system at all.

I did not attack it. I argued against it. There is a distinct difference. As such, a ban isn't justified.

The only thing I have seen against these arguments are PIS. I haven't seen it been prven as PIS though, just claimed.

We don't know much about dragon ball's cosmology, how are you so quick to jump to that conclusion? Dragon Ball is not special, it will get treated same as other verse. It's like saying Fairy Tail has nakama power so they shouldn't have any AP because they can beat anyone with power of friendship. All verses fall under dimensional tiering

I have only seen baseless claims towards myself, stating I attacked the tiering system, as well as being taken completely out of context (stating dimensional tiering doesn't apply to the verse, but been told "no upgrade")
 
@Sparky You literally just said our tiering system doesn't apply to dragon ball just because characters will be able to move in an place without time and space, pretty sure we literally had a discussion not too long along where it was decided that such feats of moving in voids are common in fiction, and usually go against the normally displayed power of characters so they shouldn't be used, so i don't see what's the point of this thread, don't think you did anything ban worthy though.

That thread regards speed, not different dimensions. With all due respect, please provide a legitimate debunk on their dimensional tiering, not infinite speed.
