Reality Quest Discussion Thread

Should Dowan's notable attacks/techniques section be split into 3 catagories: Active Skills, Passive Skills and Items?
The item section can include stuff like the Black Lock, Blood-Colored Key and the new mythical rank item he got recently (Whenever we learn what it does).

Also, Should Dowan get Preparation? If he has time to prepare before a fight he shows up with weapons appropriate for the situation.

His intelligence should also be listed as: Above Average, Gifted in terms of combat. (Capable fighter with the ability to use improvised equipment and the surroundings around him at the drop of a hat.)

What do you guys think?

Yes

Got it. I'll make the changes on the profile. What about the intelligence part? Can that be added too?

Nice. Once the desk throw has a solid calc too we'll have two calcs to put under the LS section.
Try use the distance i got from this

Distance= object size * panel height in pixels/[object height in pixels*2*tan(70deg/2)]
Distance= 2.50461538416*1513/[91*2*tan(70deg/2)] = 29.7359489116

and apply it in your formula

I'll just make a new blog post lol.
And add this in your blog
You can make a calc for the jump. I'll try again with the desk throw.

This is what I got with the new calc. Want to make any changes?

This is a feat performed by a random bully in reality quest when the bully realised that he couldn't beat Dowan in a fist fight he resorted to throwing a desk at him as a long range attack. Which Dowan caught effortlessly with one hand.

The Feat

The closest desk resembling the one in the manhwa I could find was this.

The dimentions of the desk are: 24x18 inches(72x59 pixels) or 0.60x0.45 meters

Mass of the desk= 28 lbs or 12.7 kg

Pixel Scaling

Object size by getting the height , width , depth of the table and i pixel scale with dude's hand.

1.78x0.44/78=
0.01128205128*91= 1.02666666648 m (Height)
0.01128205128*72= 0.81230769216 m (Width)
0.01128205128*59= 0.66564102552 m (Length)
= 2.50461538416 m

Distance= object size * panel height in pixels/[object height in pixels*2*tan(70deg/2)]
Distance= 2.50461538416*1513/[91*2*tan(70deg/2)] = 29.7359489116 m

Height = 1.72/2 = 0.86 m

Velocity = sqrt(2*9.8*0.86) = 4.10560592 m/s

Timeframe = 4.10560592/9.8 = 0.41893938 s

The distance is 29.7359489116 meters, so speed = 29.7359489116/0.41893938 = 70.97912092102681 m/s.

Acceleration = 70.97912092102681/0.41893938 = 169.4257553945557 m/s^2

Lifting Strength = 169.4257553945557*12.7 = 2151.707093510857 N (Athletic Human)

The distance from the ground to the top of the person's head (pixel scaling) is almost 3 meters, which is approximately 9.8 feet. He jumped higher than that, so it's either 12.5 or 15 feet

If there's a file with the pixel scaling of the feat then you should be uploaded on the calc because rn it looks like the number was just made up.

first get the velocity: 29.7359489116/ 2s maybe = 14.8679744558

14.8679744558x12.7= 188.823275589

since he didnt take time to stop it

188.823275589 (Athletic Human)

try it if yours didnt get accepted

LET'S GO!!!

And i don't remember why I gave him rage power. Maybe it was because of what happened after the use of black lock? I don't remember what happened exactly, but do you think it's related to rage power or is it more about supernatural willpower? if its not, are there any other scenes where he displays this rage power?

The pressure point should be transferred to his black lock item, and can u write any good description
Pressure points should stay on his base section. He has been targeting them since chapter 5 when he hit Se-Hoon in the nose and multiple other people in solar plexus and jaw. We can add better pressure points to the black lock tho.

I can't remember him using rage power either.

Does hitting someone in their nose or jaw consider as a pressure point? I thought it's when you hit someone in special spots on the body that will cause them to be paralyzed or something

I can't remember him using rage power either.
Then it will be removed

Cause unbearable pain to the enemy is one of the possible uses. Hitting in the solar plexus and jaw would do that so they should be considered pressure points.
