I am working harder than he isReinhard been working overtime these past few days/weeks
As White Sheep pleaded out with misty eyes and a tearful voice, Russell brought his hand to his lips.
Deep within his narrowed eyes, his Divine Protection, which ascertained the “value” of all things in this world reconstructed the various plans he had assembled, fabricating them anew.
He could not see the right answer in itself. ――Merely, he would locate the option closest to the right answer.
Ferris: [It’s alright. I’ll make it better now.]
――That instant, overflowing in excess, was an exceedingly kind, blue light.
Beatrice: [Incredible…]
Laying eyes upon that light, a wordless whisper spilled from the lips of Beatrice.
That which made even Beatrice, a Great Spirit capable of healing magic herself, be so taken aback, comprised the entirety of the reason for Ferris to be dubbed the Blue, and a prodigy beyond all compare.
His healing arts were the same as ever―― no, very clearly, they had reached miraculous heights far greater than his previous expertise.
dont let hercules see thisMy guys are there any news on this CRT? https://vsbattles.com/threads/re-zero-upgrades.191080/
I agree that Al Karum is a True Singularity based on wording and the fact that it warped space, which is textbook definition of a gravitational singularity, are we still waiting on a Calc? I mean good luck for whoever has to Calc a black hole smh![]()
Dunno who that is, but the dragon sword being able to just stab a black hole to death is the funniest shit ever to me, like what did that Black Hole ever do to you, man?dont let hercules see this
Nowhere, there is no skill chain, just wank.Question, how far is Julius into the skill chain
Kinda meh. His swordmanship is comparable to Crusch. His spirit arts abilities are more impressive but he doesn't have the same limitations that Roswaal and Ezzo have with casting multiple attributes at the same time so he doesn't have to do all those complex formulas. He's kinda reliant on his natural capabilities and the op techniques he's devised over time just like Subaru is with Beatrice.Question, how far is Julius into the skill chain
Wdym?imma be fr i just think the reinhard dodging every raindrop feat is the funniest thing ever, like people accept wally west doing stupid ass shit like outrunning death or going back in time by sheer speed but people draw the line at "DODGING EVERY RAINDROP IN A STORM" or "DODGING EVERY GRAIN OF SAND IN A SANDSTORM" or "DODGING A RAIN OF LIGHT" liike dude, you are able to accept wally west's nonsense but not Reinhard's & Cecilus's nonsense, its kinda... funny to me how people draw the line there
Theses are fundamentally different feats lmao. If you drop your limited idea of existence, death as a conceptual entity becomes more understandable, as most religions have some idea of death as a god or entity. But if you say someone dodges every grain in a sandstorm, the feat doesn't make sense spatially and veers off from skill to some unknown hax being utilized.imma be fr i just think the reinhard dodging every raindrop feat is the funniest thing ever, like people accept wally west doing stupid ass shit like outrunning death or going back in time by sheer speed but people draw the line at "DODGING EVERY RAINDROP IN A STORM" or "DODGING EVERY GRAIN OF SAND IN A SANDSTORM" or "DODGING A RAIN OF LIGHT" liike dude, you are able to accept wally west's nonsense but not Reinhard's & Cecilus's nonsense, its kinda... funny to me how people draw the line there
like the "impossible feats" yknow, the usual "Dodging every raindrop in a rainstorm" reinhard feat or that people just put them under the impossible feat banner, i find it really funny that people accept some nonsense feats (like whatever the **** some speedsters in fiction do, like dude calm down, no need to be that fast) and then draw the line at others like Reinhard dodging raindrops or whatever the hell cecilus does, like dude its just funny, my personal headcanon is that they just vibrate, like real fast, for the funsies, like some things arent made to be mathed or calculated, they are just funny and well "rule of cool" i dont think tappei cares about physics tbh, like they're just funny to meWdym?
If you actually look at that comic where Flash does it, you wouldn't add that as an example. I can't even compare them together like that. Going back in time with sheer speed is also pretty much established.like the "impossible feats" yknow, the usual "Dodging every raindrop in a rainstorm" reinhard feat or that people just put them under the impossible feat banner, i find it really funny that people accept some nonsense feats (like whatever the **** some speedsters in fiction do, like dude calm down, no need to be that fast) and then draw the line at others like Reinhard dodging raindrops or whatever the hell cecilus does, like dude its just funny, my personal headcanon is that they just vibrate, like real fast, for the funsies, like some things arent made to be mathed or calculated, they are just funny and well "rule of cool" i dont think tappei cares about physics tbh
Subaru's only smart when he locks in tbh, normally he has like, 2 braincellsStaring at The Subarubox thinking "Subaru has some good intelligence feats probably but unfortunately, I can't help but see him as a buffoon."
idk man im not too much into comic, i just find the feats without context to be hilarious, like imagine being a dude without any idea nor context of any series and you read some random feat, without previous context, its hilariousIf you actually look at that comic where Flash does it, you wouldn't add that as an example. Dodging rain, like you can say the character can do it but it won't help much against anything other than similar attacks/cases. What should you say against it when all they say is that they can do it and that they do it.
Notable Attacks/Techniques:
Authority: Subaru is a host for multiple Witch Factors, granting him powers known as Authorities— these are described as the right to interfere with the world, and are superior to Divine Protections. Subaru possesses 3 Authorities: Return by Death, Invisible Providence, and Cor Leonis.
Magic: Subaru was capable of using magic thanks to his affinity for the Yin attribute. Although he has an affinity, Subaru's talent for magic is still poor, meaning he can only use low-level spells and casting will damage his Gate. Following the events at the Sanctuary, Subaru permanently broke his Gate, making him unable to cast magic on his own.
- Return by Death: Subaru's first and most powerful Authority, Return by Death automatically and instantaneously brings Subaru back to a "save point" set at an earlier point in time upon his death. This effectively makes Subaru immortal, allowing him to travel back in time while keeping his memories intact, granting Subaru an infinite number of retries. While the Authority at its core is Subaru's, it is controlled by the Witch of Envy who sets the afformentioned "save points" and imposes rules on Subaru and his Authority, perfecting its power and making it truly invincible with her love, as she ensures that Subaru is incapable of meeting the dead-end of true death. With this Authority at his disposal, Subaru can learn from the events of failed time-loops, always remain a step ahead in dangerous situations, and challenge fate innumerable times, making him one of few beings who exists outside the framework of the world, akin to the Witch of Envy, the Sword Saint, or the Divine Dragon.
- Taboo: Part of Subaru's mysterious Contract with the Witch stipulates that he will be punished for attempting to tell others of Return by Death. If Subaru attempts to break this taboo, the Witch will silence him by squeezing his heart in a world of frozen time, potentially crushing it if he doesn't yield, and she may also kill the individual he tries to tell as a punishment. If knowledge of Return by Death is leaked in spite of this, the Witch will personally set out to correct it by killing the individual and/or Subaru to force Return by Death to activate. Activating the taboo also causes the Witch's Lingering Scent hanging over Subaru to increase dramatically.
- Authority of Sloth: Invisible Providence: Subaru's Authority of Sloth allows him to summon an invisible magic hand he can control freely, as well as phase through people or objects. However he is only able to one one arm, and using the Authority causes extreme physical backlash due to it being "incomplete".
- Authority of Greed: Cor Leonis:Subaru's Authority of Greed allows him to perceive his allies on an internal radar, each one appearing as a faint light in his field of vision. With this power, Subaru can tell both the locations and conditions of his allies.
- First Shift: Little King: Through the nonexistent connection forged between the souls of him and his allies by Cor Leonis, Subaru can take on their physical burdens: fatigue, pain, lack of dexterity, all can be taken on by Subaru. However Subaru can only take on as much as his body can handle, and recklessness could cause his death.
- Second Shift: Division of Labor: Displaying an ability which reflects the previous Greed's Authority of the Little King, Subaru can share the burdens he takes on between his allies so long as they wish to do so. Subaru controls how much of the burden he consigns as if turning a tap. When used on a great number of people, with an intense desire for victory, this ability can induce Magical Shroud Excitation: opening the Gates of everyone affected by Cor Leonis to provide them with superhuman characteristics in order to support their Little King.
Spiritual Arts: Subaru is contracted with the Artificial Spirit Beatrice, granting them the power to cast powerful magic, including their own original spells.
- Shamak: A basic Yin spell, Shamak allows a low-level caster like Subaru to trap his opponents in a cloud of darkness that separates their awareness from their body. The targets become unable to sense where they are; however, they can still feel the ground and understanding what's happening to their body.
- Shamak:The lowest level of Shamak, this is a kind of Yin Magic which allows Beatrice to cut off a target's awareness from the world. Used by an expert like her, Shamak is potent enough to destroy all 5 of a target's senses and affect people who could easily brush aside Subaru's Shamak.
- El Shamak: A higher level of Shamak, the target of this spell becomes unable to form thoughts, and their will to fight is robbed from them.
- Ul Shamak: The penultimate level of Shamak, this spell creates an enormous black hole in the targeted space that swallows the victim into its unknown depths.
- Al Shamak: The highest level of Shamak and the pinnacle of Yin Magic, this is a spell which destroys a target's awareness and opens a hole to another dimension which they are banished into, never to be seen again.
- Door Crossing: A high-class application of Yin Magic and Beatrice's specialty, this spell connects a space to the interior of a single building using closed doors as a medium. It normally can't connect over great distances, however if she has deep ties to a place, Door Crossing can connect to it. Beatrice can also use a limited version to open holes in space and teleport short distances.
- Minya:The lowest level of Minya, this Yin Magic spell creates stakes made of crystallized mana covered with light purple flames. These magic arrows freeze and shatter the time of a target, which makes them a kind of instant-death magic that negates any defense, sentencing the target to death with even a scratch. Any stakes that miss can explode and release smaller shards that fly in all directions, and maintain the effect of the spell.
- El Minya: A higher level of Minya, this Yin Magic spell is similer to Minya except the number of stakes can go up to 40.
- Ul Minya: The penultimate level of Minya, this Yin Magic spell causes a magic circle to bind the target, and the light of Minya appears in the sky to crash down at the target in a huge explosion. Another time, this spell instead summoned a countless number of Minya stakes that blocked off any escape route before firing at the target.
- Murak: The lowest level of Murak, this Yin Magic spell reduces the effects of gravity. Just by jumping lightly a person can jump as if they had springs. If the user wishes to, it can also be used to fly, although the user will get blown around by the wind like a leaf, but they won't flip around in midair. Subaru and Beatrice can reduce their own weight to zero in an instant.
- Vita: The lowest level of Vita, this Yin Magic spell ncreases the effects of gravity. They can make themselves or their target weigh more than a hundred-and-some-dozen kilograms heavier than normal.
- EMM: An original "absolute defense magic" co-developed with Beatrice. By using Yin Magic to interfere with the time and space around the two of them, Beatrice can halt the flow of time for their bodies, side-stepping the plane of existence. While they can't move during activation, they experience no interference from the outside world. It is similar to Regulus's Lion's Heart but doesn't have the same risk of cardiac arrest, and can be used until mana runs out.
- EMT: An original "absolute negation magic" co-developed with Beatrice. A invisible field several tens of meters long with Subaru and Beatrice at the center is created, which negates effects from mana within it by disrupting magical formulae. This renders Beatrice and Subaru the only ones able to cast magic under its effect, making it excellent against magicians. However, the magic only negates mana exposed to the field, and so it has no effect on users of the Flow Method.

"...Two shots worth. No, if push comes to shove, 3 shots worth." —Re:ZERO Ex Volume 4: The Travelogue of the Finest, "Imperial Selection of Bloodshed", Section 21
This is just a hasty generalisation fallacy on your end, just because some things are different about the stars does not mean that all things about them are different, if Tappei goes out of his way to detail the differences, leaving one out whilst unstated would not fit the trend and is less expected under that hypothesis, so occams razor brutalises it.The simple fact that their size and composition is completely and entirely different from irl stars already kills any and all attempts to apply the logic of irl stars to Al Shario. I really don't think they'll ever give a decent feat, just permanently upscaling due to arc 9 glaze.
Lowkey a drop of Reinhard Nectar > Al Shario....
Hm, yeah i guess stars are kinda vague since we just know that they're smaller and different from real life stars, we still dont know the distance between them and the world either, tho i do think Al Karum is a real Black Hole from the fact that it is stated to have a Singularity and that it warped space itself, it is the literal textbook definition of a Black Hole (Singularity, warping space, etc etc), tho yeah Al Shario is just wacky, i hope Tappei gives us some more info and Lore about the stars in rezero, they might be important later, also some info on the Observers would be good, but knowing Tappei he aint gonna say nothingThe simple fact that their size and composition is completely and entirely different from irl stars already kills any and all attempts to apply the logic of irl stars to Al Shario. I really don't think they'll ever give a decent feat, just permanently upscaling due to arc 9 glaze.

Physics works as a hierarchy. Some stuff can be dismissed, but others can't or else we're operating off something the verse hasn't established. If the star is made different then its different. You have to prove it still behaves normally, not argue that everything's mana so now nothing operates similar to our world, that's just childish. A star being made out of mana is a clear difference that maybe it's elemental interactions and mass are different. This is just a hasty generalisation fallacy on your end, just because some things are different about the stars does not mean that all things about them are different, if Tappei goes out of his way to detail the differences, leaving one out whilst unstated would not fit the trend and is less expected under that hypothesis, so occams razor brutalises it.
We can apply this logic to everything in Re:Zero too and petition for all Re:Zero profiles and calcs should be thrown out of the window because everything is made of mana and we don't know if they operate like atoms do, but we don't because unless a difference is established, the real world is the baseline.
The real world doesn't get to be the baseline for things that specifically and explicitly do not behave like or have anything in common with their real-world "equivalent" beyond a name. You invoke occams razor, but you're really just using a nominal fallacy.Snip
It is.tho i do think Al Karum is a real Black Hole from the fact that it is stated to have a Singularity and that it warped space itself
