Not necessarily, but it's an automatic feature of Akira and The Legionis because of their Perfect Synch with their Legions. We don't know what Tier the Berserker Mode would be in this Key, but it should still be the same Amp it gives later since it's the same Transformation.

They can Range Spam, they literally do it against the Legionis when they went Berserk and they can sort of Levitate while doing it too as shown in the boss fight.
