Random digimon questions

Considering the V-Pets of the franchise, this increases a lot (Even Tyrant Kabuterimon is considered a Super Ultimate in some of them by what I remember).

But as it is said, Super Ultimate is only a term to refer to Ultimates above the standard and as there is no standard requirement, classification may vary from author to author and from game to game (eg who is SU in CS is not necessarily SU in N0, and who is SU in N0: IE is not necessarily SU in CS: HM, even those latter two being of the same producer).

huh. So SU is just a random term without actual meaning besides "stronk ultimate"?

Yes.

The V-Tamer producers thought it really should be a level, but that was forbidden by Kenji Watanabe. They were allowed to use as a term to refer to the most powerful of the manga, but it would not be a true level.

However this was unknown because it was a hidden thing of production and as manga and games featured SU and similar things we found that the level really existed. It was when someone was talking about Jogress with Watanabe on Twitter that he revealed the truth (both about Jogress and about SU).

But that's it, snippets of Twitter are invalid when they contradict the work, right? As always Digimon breaks this rule and after Watanabe pronounces on Twitter he made a point of continuing to reveal this in interviews, databooks and now even the advertisements of the products bring this information.

In Digimon Twitter is the primary Canon.

Basically:

Games, manga and anime say one thing> Watanabe or other producers say this is wrong> Out of nowhere interviews, products and advertisements come up confirming what the producers say saying that the old products are wrong.
