Is that like a speed amp that isn’t in base form at first which is used willingly or something? Cuz I feel like Palp should be able to sense Raiden doing that and try to take him out using force choke or something since lightning and lightsaber since apparently Raiden’s blade can cut through Atoms and shit. If not, maybe give Palpatine knowledge about blade mode?

luke uses it instantly to mind hax two pig dudes and obi wan casually uses it against storm troopers. It is very much applicable they just don't lead with it and fight with lightsabers most of the time
