"
Shhhh..." The voice of a young songtress rang throughout the area, a lullaby perhaps, was being sung to somebody. "
You didn't disobey, piece of myself that I left behind. You did your best."
The maiden caressed a piece of the snake that had been left from the explosion as if she was trying to comfort it... "
Worry not, I will take care of everything for you. You were given the bare minimum of orders, but I know the truth of what our master desired of us."

"But that's only what you'll tell the piece you'll leave here."
The maiden was shocked, extremely so. Her master had never pulled double-takes like this. He was always adamant and made decisions immediately without any second thoughts or ulterior motive.
"Test them. I desire the freshest of blood, Jormungandr."
That was all he needed to say before Jormungandr understood what he needed. "
Of course, My Lord." Her love demanded she obey, and yet, for some reason, she couldn't stand that her master was leaving her to test a group of weaklings..
"
My Lord, I-"
She couldn't do it. She could not proclaim her love for the Evil God. For she was just a humble servant. A warrior who could only butcher her enemies. Her love was not forbidden by law, but in the depths of her being, she knew it to be impossible.
For he was an Evil God who knew no limits. His power was endless, and his mind was twisted and broken. He would never be able to accommodate her without spreading it's chaotic love for death.
"
I shall do whatever you ask, My Lord. I am but a humble servant and your will is my will."

"What a bunch of lies I told myself to get through the day." The girl brandished a spear made of thunderous energy. While she bore a petite demeanor, her extreme aura signified that her physical prowess existed in a realm that was far beyond that of any common enemy.
Her ashen body adorned only the ability to crush and break her enemies, her fiery eyes were sewn only to watch as her enemies trembled before her might.
For she hadn't a reason to use even a trillionth of her true power.
She stepped forward barefoot. She displayed no hostile intent in the way she carried herself, nor in her facial expression. She didn't need too. She didn't need to try and intimidate, or brag about her power, or affirm that she could kill them all in an instant.
Because it wouldn't change that she had that power. No matter what anyone said, it wasn't like there was anything that would change. It was her sworn duty... To eliminate all who will threaten her master's awakening.
"Come."
