Quick Thing About Speed Ratings

On Contessa and The Number Ma's pages, they're listed as having subsonic reactions for feats of dodging bullets

This is frankly beyond a lowball, as Kurt would only be this speed if the feat was done by a silenced or really, really old guns, and Contessa's is just in no possible way Subsonic

tl;dr The Number Man and Contessa need to have their reaction speed changed to at least Supersonic, probably higher considering Contessa's feat

Transonic is probably safer as that would match up with speeds of basic handguns. Subsonic would likely be the movement speed.

Still seems like a bit of a lowball since Kurt scales well above his clones which could dodge subsonic projectiles shot by an incredibly skilled person, and Contessa's is definitely higher

but better than nothing

Transonic is absolute minimum, don't get me wrong. Most guns are easily Supersonic- assault rifles and snipers and the like. Small arms fire is generally at minimum transonic.

The issue here is that we don't know whether or not they're aimdodging; given that both their abilities are precognitive, it's unlikely that they dodged after the bullet is fired. It's just there for a supporting Subsonic feats, as they'd be Subsonic otherwise.

If it is a case of aimdodging (thus not what I'd call a true bullet dodge) then yeah, obviously it takes less reactions in the same way it doesn't take Subsonic reactions to dodge a speeding car if you know where it's coming from/can see it from a long ways off.

It seems like Promestein already made a decision here.

well for one the feat of dodgeing Flechettes darts most likely wasn't aimdodgeing, and secondly is that it's rather hard to directly aimdodge attacks coming from right behind you

Okay. You can politely ask her to comment here again via her message wall if you wish.

It's really not that hard to aimdodge attacks coming from right behind you when you're a precog and are able to detect small motions from all around you and determine their trajectories.

for Contessa, that definitely makes sense

For Kurt, that's trickier because I doubt that someone would try to shoot someone known for absolutely demolishing people in CQC from up close

So are the conclusions here that nothing should be changed, or does some page need better clarifications/justifications for the statistics?
