Question about Undertale...

I've been told that Undertale has at least 10^500 timelines, which I can believe as the God Tiers were once 2-A, back when 2-A wasn't limited to infinitely 4-D beings.

My question now is: where exactly does this come from? I know Flowey did a lot of resets, but I don't think he could have done THIS many without getting super bored.

Well he did so many resets that he knew every single possibility and every choice every resident of the underground would make in every situation iirc.

So at least there's that.

Well the thing is, part of the justification for Chara's tier is that their destruction of reality did 10^216 damage.

Which leads me to believe that there are only 10^216 timelines...
