Question About Smurf Hax

Quick question. Regarding Smurf Hax and Resistances on the level of 1-A and up, how would one know its Smurf Hax and not just an anti-feat/contradiction to 1-A and up?

It depends on how the smurf hax is explained. If it is just through their own power, then it'd be an anti-feat [I.E: Toons from Looney Tunes, though I believe you can make a case of this not being the case as it's consistently regarded that Toons were made with embodying the concept that anything is possible within a cartoon, even way back during it's initial conception, so you could make a case that this means they were created by the Narrators to have that potential]

If they have an in-verse explanation about 'X being was given the potential by an 1-A or higher being/entity/etc to become 1-A or higher' , or 'X's powersource for the Smurf Hax is from a 1-A or higher source', then the smurf hax is valid. For example, Molecule Man is explicitly described as having powers from the Beyonders (Marvel in general has a lot of statements about how certain characters have powersources from 1-A or higher beings allowing them to be 1-A or higher). Tom Taylor from The Unwritten directly has the powers of the Leviathan, etc.

I see, I assume the same principles apply for Smurf resistances as well? Cuz, speaking of Marvel, I noticed characters like Carol Danvers and Count Nefaria can resist hellfire and magic respectively, which I know to have 1-A potency.

Marvel is... a Weird case. From an OOU explanation, The Writers will essentially let their characters do whatever they want, even if it may or may not make much sense within the context of their story, just for the sole purpose of making a story, as it's infamous for the 'Story takes precedence over powerscaling' aspect.

From an IU perspective , the Concordance Engine , The Celestials, and other such plot devices explains how the Characters have the potential to reach ridiculous levels of power.

Pulling up once more with another question, but this time, it's related to layered hax: so the basis of layered hax is to overpower resistances. For example, if someone was resistant to mind manipulation, yet a mind hax works on them, that mind hax would be layered. But would overpowering the hax itself also qualify for layered hax?

To elaborate, I'll give a brief hypothetical:

We have Character A, who has Lax hax. Then, we have Character B, who also has Law Hax. They battle, where Character B attacks A with his law hax and A tries to counter it with his own, but B's hax overpowers it and affects A regardless. I'm not sure if there's a similar scenario to this, nor is there a mention of resistance here, so I'm wondering?

Depending but yeah.

No. To obtain a layer it would be necessary to overcome a resistance.

No. This does not involve resistance but rather the potency (I think). There's definitely no layer.
