If my invoulnrability is capable of withstanding the blows of a character that has shown the ability to bypass the invoulnrability of other charaters does that give me a layer of invulnerability?

Question about invulnerability layering

No. Could just be that the person has higher durability than their attacks can dish out, but they're still bypassing the invulnerability nonetheless.

Invulnerablity is a hax, it means you're not capable of being damage in a certain fashion (otherwise its just durability or limited Invulnerablity). Damaging someone is either an anti-feat or Invulnerablity negation.
Assuming it is negation, it would be resistance to invulnerablity negation.

I know the verse and it has a mechanic that basically gives everyone in the verse invulnerability negation.
