I don't even know what the Qin Mu character's abilities for his 9-A keys are, because his profile doesn't even have the keys section. :L

And yeah, Alex Mercer only needs to touch once to win against a target for his 9-A keys. He absorbs via touch. He possibly doesn't even need to do so by his hand, he could probably use his shapeshifting to extend one of his tendrils at a range and have that tendril touch his target to absorb them.

Its Alex, second key as that I assume is the strongest 9-A.

Qin Mu's abilities are all said in the P&A tabber while he can use all Knife techiques in any key of the two.

Qin Mu would sense or see thanks to his Heaven Eyes that Mercer is dangerous and see the true him which would lead to him using stronger techiques like he did in a fight with Ming Xin once he saw how dangerous he was. This making him use the Devil techiques which once intoned will pull out the Soul of the Target and destroy it.

Or just use Refining Yang Soul in the Sky to attack with a light that destroy it.

His first Key could contend with things that could One-Shot APCs by falling on them. Much better than obliterating a Helicopter by throwing a Car at it. His Second Key is so much stronger than that one that it isn't even funny, especially when he can double his Strength with Muscle Mass and Increase his Durability with his Armor ability. Anyways, what stops Alex from just Whipfisting him or Tendril Barraging him and calling it a day?

Nothing seems if he lacks a Soul as Qin Mu can only attack the body with other elements but don't think that would work well. His God Creation Techique won't help him in this key.

Seems he has no wincon as Mercer has good resistences and regen.

Slicing buildings into halves is not the same feat as completely obliterating entire buildings. They both have completely separate power behind them. The latter is what gives 8-C AP and over (depending on the size of the building), while the former could easily be as low as 9-A or even 9-B as one is just splitting objects by taking advantage of force exerted at smaller surface area.
