Project Moon Discussion 2

Also if we kept Firebird = All WAWs = All WAW Gear Scaling, then Level 60 Lamp Hohenheim would be Large Building level+ because of Lamp & Refraction, along with anyone else Level 60 like Ricardo.

Not saying I agree with [All WAWs and Gear equivalent] scaling, but just putting that out there.

(In my opinion, you'd only be able to scale the MAX Atunement of EGO Gear to Abnormalities, and even then it would be to the specific Abnormality the Gear is based on rather than the Firebird)

I mean, Stephen's page does note [and foes who are relatively powerful tend to dodge shots like it’s nothing, and I can barely graze ‘em…], but it also says [There’s not a lot of ways to react to enemies closing in, either. You’d have to be quick on the draw and shoot them in the weak spots]; the fact that he notes draw speed implies there's a degree of aim dodging most people can pull off, also evidenced by the fact that they can even be grazed by bullets at all.
Given they don't exactly holster their weapons and "enemies closing in" implies they're talking about the heat of battle to begin with, I don't think it's literally a statement about how you have to draw the gun really fast to make sure they don't get out of the way ahead of time. At that it mentions foes who are "relatively" powerful rather than people who are just flat out ridiculously strong, so I don't think it's that strong of a contradiction
Son probably forgot he did.
Bold to say this after forgetting I went into extensive detail saying why I think otherwise. You can't just diagnose me with amnesia because I disagree with the idea it's in the same playing field as street level Manhwa number ligmaballs, or more on topic the nail deflection calc which I said I hated on the evaluation and opposed quite a bit over discord. Honestly if I realized the statement of those nails being "faster" than anything Limbus tested against Mephi's windows doesn't make any sense because the company is absolutely loaded with fixers who should be stronger (namely the LCA Udjat, Ezra, Vespa, Vergilius, heck I think even Moses would outscale them) and thus able to throw stuff faster than a basic inquisitor at the time, I would have just held to saying "no this is silly Kromer not taking the fight seriously doesn't justify this"

Okay, but it still doesn't make sense that Liwel's melee pages are over a hundred times faster than his ranged pages if we're using clashing animations as viable for speed scaling. Being faster than bullets is one thing, but Mach 250 Proselyte pages?

The Insta-blitzing bullets should be chalked up to game mechanics.

Same thing for the Nail Deflection; it doesn't matter how fast or slow the nails are thrown, if we use clashing animations as viable for speed calcs, we get tiny projectiles being thrown far slower than punches.
