Professional Wrestling General Discussion Thread

bro I heard Vince begged Cody to come back
If that's true, then that's crazy that Vince begged Cody to come back.

It's also satisfying to see an former AEW wrestler come to WWE instead of the opposite for a change.

Bianca vs Becky, Steve Austin vs Owens, and Cody vs Rollins were the 3 highlights of the first nights no doubt about it.

what makes it even more crazy is that Cody was one of the founders of AEW I believe, which means him coming back to WWE is a really big deal

It was hysterical seeing all of the AEW marks whine and complain calling Cody a traitor as if they knew him personally lol.

They also were mad that WWE made a not so subtle shot at AEW, saying that WWE is getting desperate, despite AEW taking shots at WWE since the start lmao.

Excited for Night 2 and the Raw after Wrestlemania.

Found something interesting.

So the scooter Matt Riddle uses is a regular scooter. A normal scooter can go at 7 mph. An electric scooter is significantly faster, reaching speeds of up to 15-30 mph, with the fastest scooter reaching speeds of up to 55 mph.

Riddle and Chad rode a regular scooter around the Heritage Bank Center 7 times in 1min and 40sec, or roughly 98mph.

So the scooter that's being used is not normal, or the wrestler that is using it is not normal.

It's one of those two.
Still need some input on this feat here.

Depending on the tier they end up landing in I'm not sure but I know for sure I'm going to make a shit load of Vince McMahon match ups
Going by the feats we have now, they seem to range from Street+ to Wall level.

Vince McMahon vs MCU Kingpin

I was thinking of pitting them up against some DC and/or Marvel characters, as well as some characters from Danganronpa and Black Lagoon.
That's got me wondering about the range of hax WWE as a verse might have, like Bray Wyatt might actually have Reality Warping or Mind Manipulation

The Undertaker should have possession via being able to possess Josh Matthews, as well as being able to control a car without being in it.

Bray Wyatt's hax are kinda weird. It's hard to determine what kind of hax he used against John Cena in that weird, but at the same time, great, Wrestlemania match.
Supporting feat for that, in the Netflix special Undertaker is able to possess The New Day in some of the endings.

I'm assuming we count that as regular WWE canon right?

Are you able to show me a scan of that?

It should be canon, though.

Alright so not exactly how I remember, but it is a short video that explains the multiple endings and some of The Undertaker's powers.

Definitely going to participate in this interactive special. This shit looks amazing.

But yes, this is definitely canon. He should also get Soul Manipulation as well.

Does anyone in this thread know someone I can contact that can give some input on this?

What was your favorite match and moment?
My favorite match from Night 1 was no doubt Cody vs Seth. The storytelling was great, and so was the action. So glad to see Cody back in the WWE.

Favorite moment from Night 1 is a tie between Cody returning and Stone Cold finally having a match after 19 years against Kevin Owens, and actually having a solid match with him.

My favorite match from Night 2 was surprisingly Austin Theory/Mr. McMahon vs Pat McAfee. Pat and Austin have really good chemistry, and Austin has the potential to be one of the best heels in the company if he keeps doing stuff like this. The crowd was booing the shit out of him, especially when he mocked Stone Cold. Pat surprised me with how great he was in the ring.

My favorite moment from Night 2 was Stone Cold stunning Austin Theory (amazing selling from Theory), Vince, and McAfee. A great moment for sure.

Wrestlemanina 38 was a 8/10 for me.

This proves that WWE can be great if they try. The card, for the most part, sucked, but they made it up with great action, memorable moments, and most importantly, they made it entertaining.

Can't wait to watch RAW tonight.

W analysis

An underrated match was Sami zayn vs Knoxville, it was funny and good
That was second behind Theory/McMahon vs McAfee for match of the night for Night 2.

All of the celebrities/non-wrestlers delivered.

Logan Paul was kind of expected, since he's a legitimate athlete, Knoxville I knew it was going to be fun, and McAfee I had high expectations for, but he exceeded those expectations.

Theory needs to win the US or IC title. He'll benefit so much from that.
