Precognition Question

So....a character who can resist having their future looked at directly, isn't automatically resistant to pure battle precognition are they?

Depends how the precog works? If it is like jedi seeing glimpses of the future then the precog fails. If it is like the Sharingan reading muscle movements to anticipate the opponent then it still works.

@Amexim

I don't know tbh. In some cases they're completely different abilities in their mechanics.

Cause some things immitate precognition, but aren't actually precognition. That is pseudo-precog. Can you give an example of someone with pseudo-precognition?

Shari users can predict their opponents moves through muscles tensing. That's pseudo because the user isn't looking into the future. They are watching their opponent very closly, and making an educated guess, basically.

No idea what the Eye of the Mind is, but I assume that it will be similar.

Eye of the Mind is a skill of some Servants in Fate where they get pseudo precog from sheer battle experience, whether its concious or unconciously.

Yeah, then same. Their experiance allows them to 'read' their opposition. Not Precognition, rather something that looks similar

If users have regular precog on their page when they actually fit the bill for pseudo-precognition, it should probably be replaced with limited or pseudo precognition
