Poppy Playtime - Project: Playtime Additions

A new spin-off game in the Poppy Playtime series has been released, and with it, new powers and abilities.

First off, to decide whether or not the following changes would be added to the existing profiles in base, or if they would require a second key - or perhaps - separate profiles. Project's canonicity has been left vague, meaning this isn't as easy to figure out as it probably should be. There are some hints, such as Mommy Long Legs sharing a backstory with her canon self, and how the survivors are given reasoning for being there, but not much is there to really cement this as canon or non-canon.

While I am hoping to get some discussion about this going, as of now, I think these additions can be added as a separate key on the pre-existing pages, if not just added to their base selves. If Project is proven to be non-canon, new profiles will be required.

So, let's get onto the additions.

Sabotages
Sabotages are a new system introduced in Project: Playtime, and act as equippable upgrades for the game's three monsters; Huggy Wuggy, Mommy Long Legs, and Boxy Boo. Sabotages are available to all three of them, and none have exclusive Sabotages. Only Huggy and Mommy have pages, so these would only change them for now,

Feeding Frenzy - Teleportation/BFR (Sends downed foes to the Feeding Pit)

Booby Trap - Technology Manipulation/Explosion Manipulation (Puzzles boxes within the monster's vicinity will be boobytrapped, and will trigger an explosion upon being tampered with, harming those who are caught in the explosion)

Directionless - Power Nullification (Disables the Survivor's ability to see the auras of important structures on the map, which in itself would be Extrasensory Perception)

Living Nightmare - Darkness Manipulation and Minor Water Manipulation (Darkens the environment and shrouds it in a thick fog)

No Pack - Technology Manipulation (again) (Makes the survivor's grabpack break down)

No Escape - Technology Manipulation (again, again) (Ceases the functions of various machinery in the area, such as doors and trains)

Shutdown and Total Lockdown also exist but are essentially repeats of No Escape, this time focusing solely on the puzzle boxes. Could still be listed under tactics.

Other Powers
Huggy Wuggy would be granted Summoning, as his power entails him summoning smaller Huggys that will screech upon seeing a survivor, giving him their location. Perhaps Enhanced Senses would be appropriate as well, as Huggy can hear their screams from anywhere on the map.

Mommy gets Adhesive Manipulation via shooting webs, and Extrasensory Perception due to being able to see through walls.

Both would get Extrasensory Perception regardless, as they can see the paths the survivors took in the form of glowing footsteps. These footsteps can be altered via the survivor's perks, so this seems to be an in-universe thing as well.

Summary
  • "Project Playtime" keys for Huggy Wuggy and Mommy Longs Legs. These keys will get;
  • Teleportation and BFR (via Feeding Frenzy)
  • Explosion Manipulation (via Boobytrap)
  • Power Nullification (via Directionless)
  • Darkness Manipulation (via Living Nightmare)
  • Minor Water Manipulation (via Living Nightmare)
  • Technology Manipulation (via Boobytrap, No Pack, No Escape, Shutdown, and Total Lockdown)
  • Mommy Long Legs gets Adhesive Manipulation (via webs) and Extrasensory Perception (via seeing through walls and seeing glowing footprints)
  • Huggy Wuggy gets Summoning (via Mini-Huggys) and Extrasensory Perception (via seeing glowing footprints)
