Nicholas sent a message to Thomas, it read: "There's something up ahead in a small room at the end of the hallway you are currently in, it is labeled as containing a filing cabinet."
Meanwhile, Nicholas was looking for records on experiments they may have, searching to see what was conducted and held here in this facility.
Thomas nodded, confirming that he got the information. He made his way across the hallway, keeping his head down and attempting to remain as quiet as possible, sticking to the walls and hoping that no surprises happen between here and the hallway's end.
The guards all seemed to be rather unaware of what was happening, though you could see some other figures seemed to be...alarmed, somewhat. Those in the back of the building, next to the fearful hostage.
Thonas wouldn't see anything that would cause trouble for him, or anything of the like. He would hear footsteps coming down the hallway towards him, however, which wasn't the best thing to hear.
Nicholas wouldn't actually find much relating to any experiments. He would be able to read about people being more adept at Bursting than others. Some documents talked about genetic structures and evolutionary backgrounds, how bursting is as natural as waking for some bloodlines. The documents would then discuss how to exploit this...
Jasmine, eventually, hit concrete. She groaned. "Alright, this is getting annoying. Let's try this out." She brought her hand back and balled it into a fist. She swung it forward, slamming into the ground and causig it to immediately crumble and shoot up. The hole she made went up about six feet and broke the surface. She grinned. "And we're in."
"Interesting, so they were researching burst warriors just as we suspected, I wonder if our group is part of one of those bloodlines."
Nicholas thought to himself as he looked through the data. He then sent messages to all of his teammates: "The systems are under my control, should I remain inside the data stream, or should I attempt to exit it and catch them by surprise?"
"Look, data boy, I don't really care what you do." Jasmine hopped out of the hole in a single leap and landed on the ground skillfully. "I'm about to tear this place to the ground if I get anymore troubles, so how about someone just tell me where I'm supposed to go?"
Meanwhile, back at the museum, Haruto was communicating with Kaedae via telepathy. "So are you guys like...currently doing things?"
"They're twiddling their thumbs, why?"
"Because mine has...already gone. You may want to hurry up. I don't know how organized they're gonna be, and I can't get a read on Jasmine. Dark type and all."
"What? Ah, shit."
@Outpost
Kaedae clapped her hands rather aggressively. "Alright because you people clearly have no idea what you're doing I'm going to be telling you what to do." She pointed at Charley and Diogo. "You two can fly, right? There's a little look out point at the very top of the outpost. It's like a lookout over the city. Break in there and take out the watch."
She pointed to Purple. "You can sneak around back, and anyone else I haven't yelled at can do that as well. If anyone's willing we could go for a destruction in the back of the outpost. Let's put a little hustle into it and maybe we'll be done before the damn night's over.0
"Alright, then get going," she muttered as she pushed him along before looking to Charley and Diogo. "I need you two to get going as well."
near the back of the outpost there was about...three guards, and a wire fence separating the two burst warriors from the guards. They didn't seem to notice them yet, and if anything they seemed to be acting terribly casual.
Nicholas would find that they were very close to the laboratory area, though he may also detect that...the room was still full of people, as well as there being a group of people heading towards their current location. Jasmine was anything but quiet.
"Aw, Mew dang it!" Thomas swore under his breath, hearing the footsteps coming nearer. He bolted to the nearest door and rushed inside, careful not to let the door slam behind him as he listened to guards go by.
Sensing that there will be alot of people closing in, I who was following behind Jasmine, then swiftly take her as faraway from those people as possible, looking for hiding space, while at the same time using aura to hide out our sound.
Nicholas would be able to see inside of the laboratory where a group of scientists were hanging around some computers. In some weird chamber there was a teenager stuck in it, seemingly unconscious, and next to the chamber there was a cage with a Treeko inside. The scientists were frantically typing on several computers, and Nicholas would feel resistance from within the computer system. Seems they're catching onto him.
@Starter
The room Thomas found himself in seemed to be some kind of break room. There were a couple of tables and chairs, a fridge, a coffee machine, and even a vending machine in the back for snacks and beverages. This may or may not be the best place to hide out, however...
@Andy
"Oh my god let go of me." She muttered as she pushed Gary away. She glanced around. "Look, just go find the lab or whatever it is we're looking for." She shook her head as she stepped behind Gary, entering his shadows. She slowly started to sink into his own shadow, grinning as she turned into a purely dark substance. "I got an idea."
@Diogo
The tower on the outpost was one big box that was covered in windows. It was clearly a lookout point, and Diogo could see two people just sitting there and looking around the front portion of the lookout there weren't many people in there.
"To get rid of the guards, actually, but that's also a good idea," she said just before her head turned into the shadowy substance. There was suddenly a new shadow on the ground, one that matched jasmine. The shadow gave Gary a thumbs up before just...disappearing.
"Well, let find a way to distract the guard then...Riolu, get ready."
I said to him inside to prepare for synchronization, before calmly making my presence known to the guard, silently putting on Agility after Agillity to boost my speed as best as I can, and put a thin barrier of aura over me.
Thomas looked around the room, not being able to see any good hiding spaces from where he stood. Groaning lightly, he moved to the far corner adjacent to the door, which would hopefully allow him to stay out of sight for a few precious seconds before they turn his way if they decided to come in, and he blew a few head-sized bubbles just to be safe.
Nicholas thought to himself as he used his power to attempt to shut down every system in the facility before exiting the data stream through a camera inside the lab. As he exited, he would ready himself for combat.
Upon arriving at the lookout point, Diogo tried staying out of view of the people as he circled the point, looking for any available openings to enter. If there wasn't, the Archen would just bust his way through a window.
"Hey, what the hell is that?" One of the guards asked after spitting Gary. "It's one of them burst freaks!" "Well it ain't ours, that's for sure. Hey, you, get over here and-" Jasmine suddenly appeared from behind the two guards and effortlessly ragdolled both of them into the wall with a single swipe of her claws. They were unconscious the moment they hit it. She looked to Gary. "No one said anything about getting yourself caught."
@Phoenix
Shutting off the system put the scientist in even further duress and the chamber opened and allowed the teenager to slump out, while the cage containing the Pokémon would just as well open. Two of the three scientists in the room noticed Nicholas and pulled out a pokeballs. "H-Hey, stand back!"
@Thomas
While there weren't many places to hide, it seemed like he may not actually need it, as two guards entered the room and, without really looking around, headed towards one of the vending machines. "So you even know what they got going on in there?"
"Not really. The head b*tch doesn't tell us anything. Says we'd be too stupid to understand."
"Man, I'd love to teach her a lesson. Anyways, whatcha getting?"
@Kiryu and Dusty
Diogo wouldn't really find any easy way into the building, so he'd have to bust through okenof the windows. If he attempted it, he'd find it to be equivalent of running through paper. Glass shards sprinkled everywhere as the two guards jumped out to their seats in surprise. They both pointed their wrist mounted guns and fired.
Giving a small smirk, Diogo let out a "WRYYYY!" as he used Scary Face. Attempting to close the distance before getting shot much, the Archen sprang towards the guards as he opened fire with Dragon Breath, the transparent beam surrounded by white rings as it shot forth at the guards.
Thomas stood frozen as the men walked past him and towards the vending machine, hearing them ranting as they obviously hadn't realized he was there. Considering momentarily to immediately escape through the door, he suddenly came across an idea. Carefully spreading the bubbles he pre-made across the ceiling of the room to act as speakers, he suddenly began to perform a lullaby, quiet at first with a steady increase in volume, while infusing it with the power of his Sing attack, hoping to put the two guards out without them being able to respond, and preferably without their suspicion.
"W-We were just running through some blood tests on him. We didn't do anything to him I swear!" One of the scientists seemed to be trembling as he took several steps away from the porygon warrior.
@Silas
You can specifically remember relaxing at your house one day when people saying they're from the government came to your house and asked them to come with you, promising proper payment for your time. Everything after that was fuzzy, however...
@Diogo and Charley
The two guards were panicking, even when the warriors used their own combination of moves, they were trying to scramble out of the way. One was just barely able to avoid Dragon's Breath, but they fell unconscious the moment that hypnosis was used. The tower was soon completely silent...
@Gary
"I said find the lab, not follow me and distract them. You don't even listen," she rolled her eyes before holding one of the guards up to the light so they casted a shadow on her. She sank down into the ground and hurried off in her shadow form.
@Thomas
The guards still hadn't noticed what was going on, but they started yawning. "Hey, get me one of those energy drinks. I'm feeling...sleepy..."
"Oh, yeah, same." The man let out a tired chuckle before reaching into his pocket and pulling out a few coins. He put them in slowly. One...two...he stumbled away from the machine, before falling over and leaning against it and falling asleep. The guard next to him did something similar except...he fell into the floor.
Thomas continued for about a minute longer to make sure they were out cold, and then he ceased his song, the bubbles popping as soon as he finished. Filled with a strange urge to draw on their faces while they slept, he shook the notion from his mind and moved back to the door. Opening the door slightly, checking to see if anyone else was coming, he slipped out the door and moved quickly and quietly towards the room at the end of the hall, making sure to favor the wall he was against, just to be safe.
"Hmph," Diogo simply responded as he looked down at the fallen guards. "I'd rather finish the job to make sure they don't pose an annoyance for anyone anymore." Still, the Burst warrior stepped over the guards as he made his way to the door that'd lead down into the outpost.
You'd make it to the lab fairly easily, where you'd find Nicholas, some other teenager and his Treeko, and some scientists being very startled.
"W-We just run tests! We ty to find burst warriors, that's all, I swear!" The scientist at this point had backed up against a wall. He seemed very panicked. Also completely ignoring Silas because he had better things to worry about.
@Thomas
Once finally getting into the room that was labeled with the filing cabinet, Thomas would find...multiple filing cabinets. Opening them up they seemed to contain all types of research papers, employee information and even status reports of former test subjects. Though there were far too many to exactly read in this short amount of time...
@Diogo and Charley
The door down to the outpost was easy to find, and it's lead to a long spiral staircase. Once at the bottom you'd find a long hallway with...what seemed like a couple of cameras going around.
